I'll be very honest, I am not sure why the LGA 1700 mounting kits are still not on most of the coolers in retail now. While Alder Lake is just released a few weeks ago, the socket and mounting should have been finalised some time back, and not something like a couple of months back. Instead, we are still seeing companies announcing LGA 1700 mounting kits, with actual availability up to a couple of months away. So if one is planning to get an Alder Lake system, the cooling options that comes with LGA 1700 mounting kit is very limited. I am not sure who messed up, Intel or the cooler manufacturers. If Intel did this, they are basically shooting themselves in both feet because it will surely be a blocker for people looking to get a system with Alder Lake CPU.

Hrm not worried about LGA1700 as I don't intend on running Intel but rather AMD's new upcoming LGA 1718 socket for desktop consumer CPU's
