Phanteks today announced three new additions to the Glacier One Series, Glacier 240/280/360MP Halos Black models. The Glacier One MP Halos Black models are capable of cooling powerful CPUs while operating silently. The radiator is optimized to offer a noise-performance ratio that is best-in-class with the new silent Phanteks MP fans that now have a higher maximum RPM (2000-2200 RPM).

The Glacier One MP Halos Black models features a tempered glass infinity mirror pump cap with smooth D-RGB lighting integration. The new editions of the Glacier One comes with additional HALOS D-RGB fan frames to light up the MP fans. The full cover pump cap has a low-profile design that can be mounted magnetically to the pump module to cover all mounting parts, which creates a clean and integrated appearance with the motherboard. Installation is a breeze thanks to the pre-filled all-in-one solution, excellent RAM clearance, flexible braided tubing and Phanteks Tube Clips that help route the tubing and fan cables for a clean PC interior.

Cooled by Asetek, the new Glacier One MP Halos Black models provide reliable operation and high cooling performance. With their technical expertise and many years of experience, the highly reliable Gen 7 pump from Asetek ensures the best stability and longevity.

All Glacier One All-in-One Liquid CPU Coolers will also support the new LGA1700 socket.

It's a shame Phanteks aren't using their excellent T30 fans on these - three of them daisy chained would likely offer chart-topping performance for an AIO.

Instead, they've bolted some 5mm thick, chintzy plastic covers onto their el-cheapo fans to make them look like T30 fans. This is disappointing, to say the least, and definitely pointless.

Same old shit from AIO manufacturers - they release the product to be as cheap and high profit as possible, rather than just putting some decent parts together and making 5% less money from idiots who don't know better.

Hence why high end air (which almost always has excellent fans) is better than AIO.

Go custom and do it properly or don't mess around with AIOs (hint it's not just the fans that are cheap crap).

They made a 240 mm AIO to coincide with the launch of the fans, saying it has favorable performance as most 360 mm AIOs: https://www.phanteks.com/Glacier-One-T30.html

Two things bother me with the design.
One is the shroud on the intake side of the fans that partially cover the blades.
Two is the inverted name on the pump block cover.
At least with the fans you can leave that shroud off, but the pump block cover should have been made in two pieces so the user could elect to have the Phanteks branding on top only facing the right way around.

The regular HALO kit is plastic; it's the LUX kit that is made of aluminum.

assuming the generic fans are still 25mm, 18mm thick radiator seems meh here, unless they did something else to the radiator to make it perform better than other average AIOs

Two is the inverted name on the pump block cover.
I have the AIO installed on my system and the Pump block cover (the one with the RGB effect) is completely optional. It attaches with a magnet so you have a choice between just having a pump or use the RGB cover.

There is already one. The Glacier T30. The only downside with the T30 is that it's relatively thick compared to a normal fan (30mm compared to the avg 25mm) It's also proven itself to be comparable to 360 AIOs even if its just a 240 aio

It's literally still a shroud! :slap:

Yes, it states that in the write up.
My point is it has the name unnecessarily upside down on the magnetic cover. People buy AIOs like that for it's appearance, removing that cover and leaving it of makes the purchase pointless.

Those rings are actually for D-RGB, I have a bunch of them on some black noctua nf-a14s

The T30 glacier also uses a thicker rad I believe, so thicc fans and Thicc rad.
