EK, is launching three products designed to light up your PC case. The EK-Loop D-RGB LED Magnetic Strip (600 mm) - a stand-alone 600 mm long D-RGB LED strip, EK-Loop D-RGB LED Magnetic Kit (4pcs 400 mm) - a set of 4 magnetic D-RGB LED strips that can be daisy-chained, and EK-Loop D-RGB LED Edge Diffused Strip (500 mm) - White - a specialized LED strip that has a side-illumination going through a diffuser. Choose from 16 million colors via your D-RGB software and make your PC shine in a new light.

EK-Loop D-RGB LED Magnetic Strip (600 mm)

This LED strip connects to a PC motherboard or a D-RGB controller via a standard 3-pin 5V connector (+5V, Data, Blocked, Ground). It has a density of 54LEDs/m with a total of 33 separately controllable LEDs on its 600 mm long strip. The primary form of mounting it on a PC case is via magnets, but it also has a secondary option, an adhesive tape that can stick to any flat surface. It's utilized by removing the protective foil from the back of the strip. The strip is encased in a high-quality silicone housing which improves light uniformity and protects the strip.

EK-Loop D-RGB LED Magnetic Kit (4pcs 400 mm)

This LED kit connects to a PC motherboard or a D-RGB controller via a standard 3-pin 5V connector (+5V, Data, Blocked, Ground). It has a density of 51LEDs/m with a total of 21 separately controllable LEDs on each of its four 400 mm long strips. These strips can be daisy-chained, which means you can connect multiple LED strips for an extra-long lighting solution. The strips in the kit are connected between themselves via JST-SM connectors. The primary form of mounting it on a PC case is via magnets, but it also has a secondary option, an adhesive tape that can stick to any flat surface. It's utilized by removing the protective foil from the back of the strip. The strips are encased in a high-quality silicone housing which improves light uniformity and protects them.

EK-Loop D-RGB LED Edge Diffused Strip (500 mm) - White

This LED Strip has a side-illumination going through a diffuser. It can be utilized for more focused applications when you wish illumination on a specific location and as a detail light. It uses addressable RGB diodes, allowing full control of each diode separately. It connects to a PC motherboard or a D-RGB controller via a standard 3-pin 5V connector (+5V, Data, Blocked, Ground). Mounting is achieved via an adhesive double-sided tape.

D-RGB Lighting Control

The EK-Loop D-RGB LED Magnetic products are compatible with popular RGB sync technologies from all major motherboard manufacturers. The arrow marking on the 3-pin D-RGB LED connector must be aligned with the +5V marking on the D-RGB (addressable) header.

Availability and Pricing

The EK-Loop D-RGB LED Strip and the EK-Loop D-RGB LED Kit are made in China and are available for order through the EK Webshop and dedicated reseller network.

Putting magnetic things inside a case can not be something dangerous??? I think that uncontrolled magnetism does not get along very well with electronic parts made nanometrically ...

the only time it was ever an issue is sticking magnets directly onto mechanical hard drives, any other time it's perfectly safe and has been done in various ways for decades
