Halo 3 Torrents Appear on Internet

Some lucky Norwegians got their hands on the NTSC version of Halo 3, which will be released in just two days in the United States (three days in Europe). One Norwegian in particular, who goes by the alias "Assclown" turned Halo 3 into a file you can get off of Bit-torrent. The hacked version, once burned onto a disk properly, would obviously need a modified Xbox 360 to play it. The Halo 3 torrent is 7.3GB broken down into 154 RAR files.

N.B. Ripped 360 games have been "region free'd" for some time now...

Some are, but most are not. The ripped games come as follows: PAL, NTSC/U, NTSC/J and Region Free

The region free games are the only ones that will play on a PAL or NTSC system

But Halo 3 is really a game that is worth the money. It's got enough content to be worth 200$, not 60.

norwegian hands on NTSC version?
as far i know, around 5 copys of Europe version has been sold in norway, and one American version has been leaked on the internet
norwegian online newspaper http://itavisen.no/ had a forum post with a guy that had bought the game, and they posted the norwegian news first, and then someone in the US leaked a US version to the web
