Again unlike GPUs, products tend to decrease in cost and sell for less then their initial msrp as time goes on (the pro x is widely available for ~100$ and on sale every once in a while)

My only main gripe here is that Logitech didn't even bother upgrade the micro USB port to usb-c.

kinda sucks tho since the G303 Shroud already had the usb-c port

Ewww.. micro & mini USB are da devil's scrotum of connectors IMHO....

Since about 2 yrs ago, I have just simply refused to buy any peripherals that don't have USB-C, period, no if's, ands or butts !

Well, changing the color is cheap and easy, making a new mold to change the connector and actually change requires redesigning the product ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Gives me an idea for a mouse brand/model where the outside skin is easily removable so it can be cleaned or spray painted without damaging the optics/electronics. Could paint any mouse too I'm sure with very careful taping too I suppose.

You will be surprised how many people can't tape straight lines. Spray painting is extremely fickle and weather dependent though, with humidity, temperature and wind screwing everything up.

I think that wouldn't be wise because it would wear out quickly. My G305 (white) has a matte finish, but started becoming glossy at finger points after only few months of use.
