Generally - a motherboard that can support many USB to PCIE X1 adapters for cards in mining rigs. Its exactly what this motherboard does
Does it have to be a Z590? no
Does it have to have a beefy VRM and cooler? no
Does it have to have 4 DIMM slots? no

I believe this motherboard was built knowingly one day it will serve some gamer when the rig is disassembled after an inevitible crypto price reduction into irrelevancy of today's mining methods

Probably. But that's sort of the end game for all motherboards: Budget boards for "hand me down" gamers, or just the trash bin.
