I wonder when SDXC card speeds will surpass the bandwidth of the input device, meaning there's no real speed increase over V60??? I don't shoot 4K but when I do...these sure would be nice...

When they would start to stick to advertised speeds? I had few Lexars, even when Lexar was Lexar, they never worked to advertised write speeds even when using their own UHS2 reader... well those cards are dead anyway. So far only Sandisk Extreme Plus and Sony cards have delivered stable write speeds... Samsung gets slow with time as an 840evo and if you buy a new one of the same model it never matches the first batch. And 4K video ain't the issue mostly. Doing bursts and waiting the buffer to empty out to the SD card is the toughest benchmark ie it ain't a complete linear write the controller inside the SD card matters a lot too, while tinkering with RaspberryPI you understand it too.

Next thing is heat. They also heat up and throttle. Not that much as those new CFexpress ones thou.
