ASUS today introduced the ROG Swift PG329Q-W gaming monitor. Essentially a white-body variant of the ROG Swift PG329Q, its design sees matte-white take up must of the back body panel with matte-aluminium accents—a diagonal strip and another one around the pivot. The stand has the same 2-tone finish. At the front, you see matte-white only take up the bottom bezel. The screen is still framed in a thin black bezel.

The ROG Swift PG329Q-W is a 32-inch planar monitor with a Fast IPS display panel. It offers WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, 175 Hz refresh-rate, 1 ms (GTG) response time, and technologies such as ELMB Sync, NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, and DisplayHDR 600. You also get ASUS innovations such as Shadow Boost, Game Visual (game genre-optimized display presets), Game Plus (OSD crosshair, timer, and FPS counter. Display inputs include one DisplayPort 1.2a, and two HDMI 2.0 ports. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Thats exactly what i am searching to buy, the only option was from gigabyte currently and one from LG (the gigabyte seems better).
Gigabyte does have KVM switch inside which is a + but thats a ~30euro purchase so not that much of a deal.
I am more interested in that motion blur reduction and how well it works of ASUS (also its price)

The Asus one is the best, period. But it is $700. You can buy the LG monitor for as low as $400 and at that price it beats the Gigabyte one imo, and the Asus one. The Bestbuy 83-B model I bought at Bestbuy for $380. If you can't get the LG for cheaper the Gigabyte one is a good budget option.

My wealthy brother bought the Asus one, I bought the LG one, we are both happy. I think the LG one came with more accurate colours out of box. The Asus one is so expensive you could buy 4k instead.

The up the price for a bit of decoration on the back of the monitor.

You'd only see it when it makes the trip from the box to the desktop. :shadedshu:

Terrible monitors... or their choice of panel. They put like 90% of the time the crappiest brand - AUO which has been proven (even from my own experience) with a lot of pixel defects or dust/debris under the screen.

I bought like 1 year ago XG279Q with AUO panel and 1 pixel died for ~1-2 months of use... there is dust on spot also the "partial stuck sub pixel" defect (clusters) which is described in all major/popular forums/reddits for monitors like "star light effect". Everyone approves that AUO is the WORST brand for LCD in terms of QC.

I was so pissed off that I bought Dell Alienware AW2721D with LG panel and has ZERO panel defects!

This. That is why i avoid white in my tech. Plus sometimes two producs that are white are different shades so they dont mix very well.

They are. QC is years ahead of AUO panels used in 95% of ASUS/Acer/MSI monitors. I had even Nintendo Switch with AUO panel and had stuck pixels... while other with JDI or InnoLux - 0 issues.

That doesn't really happen anymore if the fire retardant chosen its a modern one, which probably is being used here because why you wouldn't in a premium product in 2022. Also, that is reversible with hydrogen peroxide treatment.

And I'm sure there will be a black version too, I rather have a black one because of my preferences.

The black version without "-W" was long time ago released. ASUS lately are releasing old products in white. My old ASUS monitor for which I was talking about (XG279Q) got it's -W (white) release recently.

It's 2020 model. Also this resolution on 34'' is absurdly bad.

Bought the Lg 32gq850-b Ultra Gear and am now in the process of returning it. Its terrible in FPS dark scenes, and I've tried settings after settings. ASUS claims they calibrate there gaming monitors before they are shipped out for purchase. This LG 32gq850-b monitor really needs to be calibrated and refined. The default FPS settings are useless IMO. So I'll be getting this ASUS monitor but the black version. It got really good reviews.
