At this point ETH's proof of stake merge can't come fast enough. Let the market overflow with used GPUs and may TPU forum flourish with new members asking how to fix those GPUs.
This migration from POW to POS have taken an extremely long time. Every time we get to the timeline, they will kick the can further down the road. The wider the adoption, I feel there’s less incentive for them to make drastic changes to it. For all you know, big time miners may be paying them to delay it.

The leaker said the new cards will cost $50 more than their older siblings for the privilege, which seems like a fair ask, if irrelevant under current market conditions where prices are still much higher than MSRP.

Things we don't need:

- Insane amounts of VRAM, will only make devs lazy in optimization and make old cards obsolete very fast
- More skus, refreshs, when there isn't enough supply of the models that exists
- Increase in MSRP's, don't be cunts and try and suck the blood out of gamers

Things we need:

- More cards at affordable MSRP's sold in a way everybody can get one and not just bots, scalpers and miners
Devs already optimise for console levels of VRAM. 16 gigs of VRAM in 2022 isnt insane. ;)

Agree on keeping SKUs down.
