Chinese graphics card company Vastarmor has recently launched two new custom Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics cards with the Radeon RX 6900 XT Super Alloy and Radeon RX 6900 XT Alloy. The release of these high-end cards comes after the company expanded its existing lineup with RX 6700 XT, RX 6500 XT, and RX 6400 offerings in recent weeks. These new RX 6900 XT cards appear to share an identical PCB and clock speeds at 1950 MHz base, 2135 MHz game, and 2365 MHz boost. The cards both feature a triple-fan and triple-slot design with the Super Alloy advertised as having a "breathing light effect" and water cooling retrofit support. The two cards are now available to purchase in China with the Super Alloy listed at 9999 RMB (1525 USD) and the Alloy listed at 7999 RMB (1220 USD).

Right, was wondering why so close to the new cards? Can only assume the massive lockdowns are really fudging things up for them.

The "new" cards are pin-compatible with the existing PCB designs, so a good idea to get some exposure and sales now, and then reuse those designs for the x50 cards, which doesn't cost a thing

Does the Super Alloy moniker mean there is a metal alloy used on the card?

Nope, that's their code name for all the keystroke loggers, password stealers, and other assorted backdoor viruses and malware that are written into the firmwarez and included with the card, free of charge, of course......:fear:

Also of note that these cards are produced using ultra-cheap, practically slave-labor-rate workers, and therefore should be alot cheaper than those produced elsewhere, but these are still going at or near scalper prices in the rest of the world.......

Pretty much all PC components are made that way to be fair. Same as Nike and other sports manufacturers (Vietnam), Primark clothes (Bangladesh) etc etc.

On topic, it is sort of weird to see the mentioned card retail at that price when 6900XT's are going for £1100 or less in the UK
