I'd guess that yields just have gotten much better so they clock higher.

I'm glad we have a shitty cellphone benchmark to confirm that adding slightly faster memory makes a GPU slightly faster.

Take up headline space to hopefully crowd out RTX 4000. It's been AMD's standard operating procedure for years when they have nothing to compete with.

More like RX580 to RX590. The change between 480 and 580 was much bigger (about 1200+ MHz to 1400+ MHz.

They are just there to get reviewed and occupy the space and get some press attention while we wait for next gen. They are just there because yields are better now and they can improve the clock a little bit.

As for the price, they will be priced according to the market or they won't sold any. Availability is getting there and you can now buy a GPU easily so the scalper are having a hard time these days.

The MSRP is $329 USD, I was talking CAD $ (329x1.26) = $415 CAD, so about $85 CAD over MSRP. But ya still a rip, but getting better.

They are refined silicon hence the transition from RX480-580-590.

Refined in what way? They were both identical Ellesmere dies with zero tweaks in silicon and on the exact same Samsung/GloFo 14LPP process.
The RX 590 was on a tweaked, smaller process node that was actually different (moved from 14LPP to 12LP+) but I didn't ever mention that - you've just brought it into the discussion for the first time, so how is it relevant here or to my point?
