Sycom Launches Custom RTX 3090 Ti with Asetek/Noctua Liquid Cooling

Japanese company Sycom has recently released the RTX 3090 Ti G-Master Hydro as a new graphics card option for their prebuilt systems. The Sycom RTX 3090 Ti G-Master Hydro features a triple fan onboard air-cooler in addition to an external Asetek Hybrid GFX 240 mm AIO with Noctua NF-A12x25 ULN fans. The card also features RGB lighting and achieves a temperature reduction of 10°C - 15°C compared to the default air-cooler. The card doesn't feature any factory overclocking but the increased thermal headroom allows the card to maintain an average boost clock of 1802 MHz increasing performance by 6%. Sycom currently offers the RTX 3090 Ti G-Master Hydro as an option in 6 computers paired alongside the Core i9-12900K, Core i7-12700K, or Ryzen 7 5800X with base prices ranging from 562,180 yen (4320 USD) to 670,870 yen (5150 USD).

I don't know whats more shocking, that people actually spend that much on pre builds or that noctua allowed them to use their fans with an aio.

Why wouldn't they? There's no advertised partnership or anything and other brands already did it in the past (Asus for example used to include PPC fans on some higher end AIOs)

Mhmm so you see noctua fans officially partnered up with other cooling companies on the regular?

Doubt it’s got approval from noctua and suspect it’s more of a pre-built company being like “partner 1 + partner 2 = innovation.”

I don't know much about liquid cooling GPUs, but is it normal to have fans on the card still? Don't think I've seen a CPU AIO with a tower cooler on the base.

When a card puts out a lot of heat, every fan helps. Watercooled GPUs with fans aren't new: my EVGA 1080 Hybrid is quite old (and working really well). I guess the fan on the card cools the VRM and the RAM memory.

It's for the vram and mosfets, that gddr6x gets hot af.

Seeing the gpu running at 62C with a 240mm radiator is nuts.

Exactly, these Asetek units only cool the core. You could do the same thing at home with a dremel and most off the shelf AIOs.

Given the card’s wattage not too surprising, maybe even pretty good. The ATX standard needs to be abandoned, not only for the chipset and CPU, but especially for AIC.
