Today, Logitech expanded its Master Series with two new mechanical keyboards - the full-size MX Mechanical and minimalist MX Mechanical Mini - and MX Master 3S mouse. Logitech's Master Series brings advanced digital creators ultimate productivity tools, featuring high performance mechanical typing and precision tracking. "There is a growing community of software developers who fell in love with mechanical keyboards when they started playing games, and now they want the same feeling of precision and control with their professional desktop keyboard," said Tolya Polyanker, head of the MX Series for Creativity and Productivity at Logitech. "MX Mechanical combines the best of both - Logitech's gaming keyboard expertise with MX Master Series signature experiences."

MX Mechanical and MX Mechanical Mini offer the latest generation of low profile mechanical switches. Tactile Quiet (Brown) key switch makes it Logitech's quietest mechanical keyboard ever with an amazing mechanical typing feel. Clicky (Blue) and Linear (Red) switch options are also available in select markets. The keyboards are designed with dual-colored keycaps for an optimized peripheral view. Smart backlighting, in six lighting options, automatically adjusts brightness for ambient light and switches off when not needed for efficient battery consumption.

To better address the needs of our advanced creators, MX Master 3S features an 8,000 DPI optical sensor that tracks on most surfaces including glass and offers faster workflow with high resolution monitors. Clicks are now 90% quieter compared to MX Master 3 while keeping the same satisfying precision feel so that you can focus on your work, not the noise.

The MX Master 3S features the MagSpeed Electromagnetic wheel that zips through 1,000 lines in one second, the side scroll wheel for faster horizontal navigation, and a unique ergonomic shape crafted for long hours of comfort.

MX Mechanical, MX Mechanical Mini and MX Master 3S are all compatible with Logi Options+ software - now out of Beta. Users can customize individual buttons, use pre-defined or create their own app-specific profiles, adjust tracking speed, select backlighting effects, and more to optimize their workflow. All three products, equipped with both Bluetooth and proprietary Logi Bolt wireless technology for a reliable, secure connection even in congested environments, can connect to up to three different devices and are compatible across a variety of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, iPadOS, Android, Chrome OS, and Linux.

Sustainability
At Logitech, products are designed to deliver great user experiences and minimize environmental footprint and the MX Mechanical and MX Mechanical Mini were designed with your future in mind. A portion of the keyboards' plastic parts are made from post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic: 45% for MX Mechanical and 47% for MX Mechanical Mini. Plus, the aluminium top case for the keyboards is made from low carbon aluminium and produced with renewable energy rather than fossil fuels for a lower carbon impact. The MX Master 3S mouse is also made with PCR plastic - 27% for graphite and 22% for pale gray.

All Logitech products, including MX Mechanical, MX Mechanical Mini and MX Master 3S, are certified carbon neutral. When you purchase a Logitech product, the carbon footprint of that product has been reduced to zero by supporting forestry, renewables and climate-impacted communities that reduce carbon.

Pricing and Availability
The MX Mechanical, MX Mechanical Mini and MX Master 3S will be available in May 2022 on logitech.com and at other global retailers. The suggested retail price for the MX Mechanical keyboard is $169.99, MX Mechanical Mini keyboard is $149.99 and MX Master 3S is $99.

These look good, it feels like a response to the Razer lineup. It will be beneficial to have some competition on that side for higher end stuff. There are also a lot of people that buy these mechanicals who game but do not like the rgb or "gamer asthetic".

Imagine needing a dedicated emoji shortcut in a professional setting. God this is so stupid. I hate logitech. Half of the shortcuts on the function row are so misplaced and just wasted.

Let me be clear: at this price, i want the entire function row filled with USEFUL shortcuts to control the machine - NOT the keyboard! You were halfway there!

I use both the MX Master 2S and Master 3 on 60 Hz monitors on my two PCs. Both are highly suitable for word processing, surfing, strategy games and simulation games. The Master 3's scroll wheel and thumb wheel are, however, a lot more precise and convenient than the ones on its predecessor. Both batteries last for a very long time, which is very important to me personally. Weight also is ideal for my use cases. Should the price for a Master 3S drop to under 100 € I might be tempted to replace my Master 2S since I both like the silent switches and the Bolt connectivity including the added security features on the new Master 3S.

Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
Logitech are rapidly becoming a company that will make things that look premium but aren't.

My MX Keys are plastic, flexy bullshit - despite looking and being priced higher than equivalent all-alloy competition like the Apple and Surface keyboards,
I've bought and RMA'd too many Logitech mice recently. Probably Omron (China)'s fault but premature switch death is something that shouldn't happen in $80 mice,
Defective headsets purchased by the dozen during lockdown,
Firmware issues all over their (incredibly expensive) Rally conference cameras,
Nasty quality, wobbly plastic crap on their small-scale meeting room cameras.
I have no complaints about my MX Anywhere 2 mice yet. They're basically the only Logitech thing I'm still impressed with in the last half decade.

Logitech used to be great. Now they're a "maximum profit, minimum effort" company designed to spew out cheap shit in glossy packaging.

Well, apparently I have been lucky enough to get a few good batches of the 3x Logitech G613's and 4x MX Master 2's, which I have been using regularly for almost 4 years, both in the office & at home, so if these new items are of similar quality, then they should be ok, but I'm just not paying the covid/scalper's/"parts shortage" tax for anything right now.....since I paid $70 & $50 for my stuff on black friday deals...

Will wait on the reviews to see what they say :)

Crowded market already. Most gamers just can’t see past gaming keyboards.

there are several dozen mech manufacturers, and probably a dozen or more that are good with a top 5 or 10 that already exist.

Amy of which I would buy over razor or w/e this is.

Can I be excused for thinking people will confuse this product name with advertising Cherry MX switches? No mention of who the switches are sourced from.

Any word on polling rate for this new mouse? Logitech's MX range have thus far been unsuitable for >60Hz displays due to the shockingly low polling rate.

Are these the GL or GX switches? I have both a Logitech keyboard with the GL Clicky keys and the GX Clicky keys. The GX keys aren't very good compared to Cherry MX Blues, however the GL Clicky keys are pretty great. I really like the reduced throw of the switches to be honest. It's a nice typing experience.
