HYTE Launches Eclipse HG10 Headset Alongside New Flow FA12 Fans and PCIe4 Riser Cable

The HYTE eclipse HG10 has made its first appearance at this year's CES 2022 where it caught a lot of attention thanks to its unique appearance and features. On the outside the sleek, matte lunar grey finish looks very appealing while the premium vegan leather lining the plush foam headband assures that the eclipse HG10 is comfortable even during extended hours of gameplay. In order to achieve the competition-grade level, the eclipse HG10 wireless gaming headset is equipped with high-capacity, lithium-ion battery, delivering a market-leading 30-hour battery life. Once a low battery level is reached, users can simply connect the included USB Type-A to USB Type-C charging cable and continue using the eclipse HG10 without interruption.

HYTE flow FA12 3-Pack
A completely new addition to HYTE's portfolio is the flow FA12 case fan which comes in a three-pack bundle. PCIE40 Riser Cable

I wonder if that HYTE headset would be a good replacement for an older RIG 800D headset, assuming it can also utilize Windows' Dolby Atmos plug-in.

But the bigger thing is that PCIe 4.0 Riser. It'd be perfect to replace the 3.0 one that came with the case I'm using while giving me a bit of a cleaner routing of the riser ribbon cable.

Any headphone can use the Dolby Atmos on PC.

Looks like iBuyPower really wants their prebuilts full of HYTE branded components. Not a bad thing in itself. Hopefully they're above average like their cases have managed to be.

Reminds me of that Asetek prototype they showed off a while ago. I kinda wish it would happen with 4090/7900 XT, would sort of bring back SLI/Crossfire cool looks without the drawbacks.

Thermaltake also marketed a version of that as the Thermaltake TideWater GPU Cooler. I think Asetek was the OEM for that design; otherwise it was just Thermaltake when they were a bit more innovative than copycatting.

Asetek recently marketed a modern version of that back in 2020 called the Rad Card GPU Cooler, with a few Dell/Alienware Aurora PCs using such. They have no intention of bringing it to the DIY market though, and just mentioned that it'd be offered to any OEMs that want to utilize it.

It's a bit of a shame that Thermaltake isn't offering a branded version of that Asetek GPU cooler like they did with their original TideWater.

Or Alphacool offering their own variation of it, considering they already have the GPU Block w/ Pump, and could just offer a slot cooler radiator with shorter QDCs and a micro res for filling purposes.
