EK, is now selling each part of EK-Quantum Magnitude, the flagship CPU water block, as a separate item. This enables users to convert their Magnitude CPU water block to another socket, replace a part with an alternative finish, or build an entirely new Magnitude water block for AM4 or LGA 1700 sockets from the ground up, creating their own unique variant. A variety of mounting frames, tops, accents, and even coldplates, are now available for separate purchase.

EK-Quantum Magnitude Frame Upgrade Kit - 1700 is a replacement/alternative aluminium mounting frame for EK-Quantum Magnitude 1700 CPU water blocks. The mounting frame is a three-dimensional X-shaped aluminium piece that leverages the screws as a design feature, seamlessly blending them into the water block. Strong edges and chamfers root this award-winning icon firmly among the EK-Quantum line. The kit contains all necessary mounting screws, backplate, jetplate, and an LGA 1700 insert. It comes in the Silver and Black variants.

EK-Quantum Magnitude Frame Upgrade Kit - AM4

EK-Quantum Magnitude Frame Upgrade Kit - AM4 Silver is a replacement/alternative aluminium mounting frame for EK-Quantum Magnitude AM4 CPU water blocks. This mounting frame is a three-dimensional H-shaped aluminium piece that uses the screws as a design feature, making them a seamless part of the water block. Strong edges and chamfers root this award-winning icon firmly among the EK-Quantum line. The kit contains all necessary mounting screws, as well as an AM4 insert, and is available in the Silver and Black variants.

EK-Quantum Magnitude Coldplate

EK-Quantum Magnitude Coldplate is a nickel-plated copper coldplate available in either the R2000 or R3000 curvature, in addition to the already available fully flat variant. The regular Magnitude coldplates are made with specific curvature depending on the socket type. AM4 and 20XX variants of the EK-Quantum Magnitude use the R3000 curvature coldplate by default, while the 115X and 1700 variants use the R2000.

EK-Quantum Magnitude Top

EK-Quantum Magnitude Top a replacement/Alternative top for EK-Quantum Magnitude CPU water blocks. It comes available in the following finishes/materials:

  • Acetal - made from black CNC-machined POM acetal
  • Satin Titanium - made from CNC-machined brass with a satin silver finish
  • Gold - made from CNC-machined nickel-plated brass followed by plating with genuine gold
  • Nickel - made from CNC-machined nickel-plated brass
  • D-RGB + Plexi - made from CNC-machined acrylic glass, also comes with a D-RGB led strip

EK-Quantum Magnitude Accent

This is an interchangeable aesthetic inner frame for EK-Quantum Magnitude water block. Although plenty of colors and finishes were already available, we decided to add a few additional ones that are now available through the EK webshop:

  • Satin Titanium - made of CNC-machined brass with a satin silver finish
  • Gold - made from CNC-machined nickel-plated brass followed by plating with genuine gold

Wow 124.us for a 1700 socket upgrade kit :fear:
A new optimus foundation cost that much and mounts on 1700 for free
EK has no shame :kookoo:

The 1700 frame was for free. (not working with magnitude, but an ancient supreme).

But these prices are far more what i expected.

They’re still ludicrously expensive, but I’m glad they’re at least offering more customization options, especially seeing they were so heavily marketed as “modular and customizable”

Hi,
Not sure ek knows what modular means with this line of cpu blocks
Singular socket mount is far from being modular

Customizable always costs more on top of the base item.

Its hard to fathom how ek stays in business sometimes. When I upgraded the top on my supreme hf ( 5 years ago?) from plastic junk to nickel, the total was $25 at ppcs. Even with inflation, cost of materials going up etc etc these prices are just dumb. No one is going to buy this crap.

Seriously, whats the point ek? Insult your user base even further?
