Haha, I don't even use the one usb-c port that I have on my board...I'd want at least 2, preferably 3 USB-C ports on a modern (pro) desktop board now.

No it’s not, E has PCIE5.0 NVME 1x or 2x 4.0 NVME like in this case. Also graphics is 5.0, with 670 5.0 graphics is “optional”.So X670E is just a 'premiumised' version of X670, the chipset implementation is identical? How long until someone hacks X670 bioses to give all the PCIe 5.0 speeds?

I miscounted the ports but yea I need 4 usb3.x. The trend needs to do away with usb2 ports. Sure there are devices that may not need usb3 and up, eventually it will change complete to usb3.x and up.10 usb ports is lacking to you?
That's... a bit (heh) confusing. This is actually a budget model from ASRock.

It’s a budget X670E. Expect stuff like Taichi, Phantom later.That's... a bit (heh) confusing.
Is it a budget model in terms of whole AM5 ecosystem or maybe a budget X670E, which is itself the premium chipset, model?
If "Pro" is budget, then what is the series for "professional" users?

It has 2, one is for front USBC.Noooooooo! Some devices really prefer usb2 ports like wireless 2.4ghz dongles for peripherals.
More USB-C ports would be apreciated though (in this board only 1 out 6 3.0 ports are type C, maybe up that to 2 or 3, that would be great)

This is a "Pro" series motherboard, so seeing it with a 2.5Gbit/s NIC is disappointing. It's not like ASRock hasn't done this before, their X470 Taichi Ultimate had a 10/5/2.5/1 NIC. Maybe Marvell acquiring AQuantia raised the prices too high?
1080P is not only the most used resolution world wide, it's a must have for gamers who play first person shooter games such as Warzone and can't afford a $700+ gpu. For those who play those games with the elves, wizards, magical fairy dust and other weird characters frames per second isn't that big of a deal as it is with first person shooter games. No, it's simply that people don't care about the quality. If it gets sold, then it will be offered. Stop buying it and it will disappear.
1080p is a stupid old low-quality resolution..

Not really, 1080p is good for up to 27” I would say. Depending on how far away you are, even more. I had a 27” 1080p as main monitor a few years ago and it was fine. Not perfect but fine.1080p is garbage on a large screen because the pixels size is enormous and it's painful to look at it.
1080p is fine for anything below 12-inch, though.

Yea, not really, 1080p is easily good enough to have enjoyable picture quality. Especially for a HDTV that is 2-3 meters away. No need to “lie” as well, lol, for what. Not that I need it to win this silly argument.1080p is 2 megapixels image, it's low quality and lack of details no matter the viewing distance. You can move to 5 metres away and watch at it from there, lying yourself how "beautiful" it is (not).
Yea, not really

Doesn’t really matter what meaningless number of amount of pixels it has when I say that the quality is good enough for me and millions (billions) of other users. Read the thread, you’re kinda alone with your opinion. And this isn’t about shooting photos. Is 1080p only 2 megapixels or not? Do you even imagine how low quality 2 megapixels is? Even the cheapest phone no longer works with so low photo resolution.

As long as the monitor is at least a good IPS, then the quality will be fine with 1080p. That’s more important than the resolution.

As long as people continue not to prefer higher quality 2160p, then these offerings with interior sound quality will still pop up.
It's not hard to get it, finally.
ALC897 is garbage, and the board implementation even worse.
Come on, there is ALC1200/ALC1220/ALC4080/ALC4086 already!!

Yea also you can make the argument that 2mp is a lot, we used to use displays with way way less. I will never agree with this elitism. I’m on 1440p myself and still not agreeing and my old HDTV is 1080p, easily easily good enough display quality, else i would’ve replaced it already. 12 years old, soon 13.That's a very poor argument, megapixels aren't everything or anything really. You need to consider a lot of other things like dinamic range or bit colour, just because it's only 2megapixels or 1080p doesn't mean it's low detail or bad. It's still the more mainstream resolution and as for phones they still very much work with it. Heck, most phone screens aren't even true 1080p with the resurgence of pentile displays.
