That's not Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo. Valve was never a console player and they don't play on the "rules" like the rest. They are random and can do whatever they want at any given time. That's why I never liked them.

The deck I've pre-ordered last year soon after the announcement, was available for me to grab a bout 1.5 month ago.

And I only had 3 days and missed the email, chuckle. (in case someone wants to ask about experience with the thing)
