Those prices are still extremely high for such a piece of garbage filled with "RT" cores.

What would you say the prices should be like?i still don't get the logic, it's a end of life card, and there should be a flood of mining cards in the market. It's not an amazing price at all, it's actually very expensive if this were normal times. Something i am missing probably.
I think people lost complete control and notion of what prices should be like.

heavily discounted from the MSRP, at least 20% if not more
I have a set of heaphones from one brand, they usually release a new version every 2 years or so, when they announce a new version the existing one drops in price imediately, that's normally how things work. New version is better, or everyone assumes so anyway, so no wants the older one unless it is heavily discounted.
I just see people compare rtx 3080 to gtx 1080 price when the die size of the 3080 is double the 1080 and smaller processes are just getting more expensive per mm2.I think eventually the below street prices to be a good compromise for the consumer:
Our current situation with semiconductors is a little different than other products though. They need to provide performance improvement and processes aren’t really providing that anymore and especially not for “free” like they used to. The new product might simply be placed over the old in the price structure.heavily discounted from the MSRP, at least 20% if not more

Of course the cost of a 628mm² 8nm GPU is higher than a 314mm² 16nm one.I just see people compare rtx 3080 to gtx 1080 price when the die size of the 3080 is double the 1080 and smaller processes are just getting more expensive per mm2.
