Here are some of the first pictures of the Seasonic PS Vertex series of high-Wattage PSUs that meet ATX 3.0 standards, and feature a PCIe Gen 5-compliant ATX12HPWR 12+4 pin connector capable of delivering 600 W, with +100% excursions lasting 100 µs. There are four models in the series, the PS Vertex 1000G, PS Vertex 1000P, PS Vertex 1200G, and PS Vertex 1200P. The 1000G/1200G meet 80 Plus Gold efficiency, while the 1000P/1200P meet 80 Plus Platinum. Both offer fully modular cabling, including a 12+4 pin ATXHPWR connector, a multitude of conventional 6+2 pin PCIe power connectors, SATA power connectors, at least two 8-pin EPS, and more. Early listing see the PS Vertex 1200P at USD $319, the PS Vertex 1200G at $281, the PS Vertex 1000P at $271, and the PS Vertex 1000G at $243.

Might be my next power supply if indeed RDNA 3 need those 12HPWR. My X650 already served me well since Vishera, it's time to give'em proper retirement.

Ew, 2.5-3 bills is way too much even for the early adoption tax. I'll wait.

some people in my country, has said, that this SS PSU it worse than corsair PSU or any other PSU, because it has weak PCIE cable, worse components, etc..... so, right now, this SS PSU is it has fixed everything that they have bad components in the past ??

Seasonic have a solid record as PSU manufacturers.
The Johny Guru website which was the reference for PSU reviews for years (he stopped updating the website and eventually went to work for Corsair), noted Seasonic as one of the best. You might still be able to access the articles via the internet archive. Without some proof article, I don't think there's anything to worry about.
The only possible problem those people might have with Seasonic is that it's a Taiwanese company.

Ah yes, well established channel partner "tampered" Seasonic to boost their own product. It's been years and everyone involved swept it under the rug, but Seasonic reputation is forever tainted.

Seasonic makes and offers a lot of PSU (including those for Corsair), Corsair designs and offers a lot of PSU; without specific units you really can't compare one to the other. That said for the most part both companies offer a lot of good units so would not consider either one a "bad" brand or worse than one another.

The Johny Guru website which was the reference for PSU reviews for years (he stopped updating the website and eventually went to work for Corsair),
John handed over the web site around 2010, he had no involvement with them since other than posting on their forums (when it was still up). In fact most of the reviews were done by Jeremy.

The development of the new series might at least partially explain some stagnation from Seasonic lately.

man its not cheap is it...
It is supposed to come with a large fan, so it will be positioned close to prime series, not focus. Other early listings start from 231 USD for the 1000w gold, it's not a huge difference from a 1000w prime.

guys will that atx3 and pci5 connector be required for pi5 graphic cards or will it be possible to use a pci5 compliant cable with old PSUs?

They will include adapters with the new cards. Ideally, I would suggest getting one from your psu manufacturer just to be safe. Unless of course it's an inferior manufacturer in which case I would suggest getting yourself a new high quality unit from a trusted manufacturer.

Wait for reviews, and the 550W ish models to come out. See if the BoM and testing results justify the price.

No prob.
I hear ya, I'm in much the same boat. I bought a couple Seasonic Focus px-850s on sale last year and kept one for myself to use in my next new build...kinda sorta planning on something this winter when things have settled down a bit. Im waiting to see how much an adapter from Seasonic will cost but only half heartedly. I caved and bought a 6800xt so don't really need it but would still like one for it.

No conclusion, no press release, just move along.

Shit happens in manufacturing, how ever would of been nice to see another update from them though as the lack of a update just says it most likely happened.

I am pretty sure a lot of seasonic distributors step out of line push there luck so to speak, need a lot more than a single post.

Could be a shit load of reasons good or bad and by the looks of it we will not know for sure.

Like I said before most units are tampered or swapped (whatever suits you) to a lower tier, all due RMA process. Upon submission nearly 40% said the unit had problems, either with lower tier or just simply dud. They've compensated any and all damages, with Seasonic stripped off their partnership for icing on cake.

Not sure what you mean. Just because some distributor in a country did some scummy stuff doesn't mean the company does that on a whole. Seasonic has been rock solid in every build i've done and are right up there in terms of performance and reliability in most reviews and general feedback from customers.
