They are not failing at all. They just have some products that have failed. Regardless of the negative sentiment Intel makes in 1 quarter more than AMD does in a fiscal year.

Intel made 15 billion last quarter and AMD made almost 7 billion. Your using the state of the industry from yesteryear in your thinking. Things are clearly not going well across ALL market segments for Intel for the first time in their history.
