ASUS today announced SmartO Mouse MD200, an ergonomic wireless mouse that includes ASUS Antibacterial Guard, an elastic carrying loop, a high-performance 4200 dpi optical sensor, long-lasting switches and 100% PTFE mouse feet. Connections to devices are made via RF 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth 5.0, with either mode providing high data throughput to ensure accurate, lag-free response. SmartO Mouse MD200 can connect to up to three devices via Bluetooth, for convenient multitasking. Intuitive Armoury Crate software enables various customization options, including the ability to tweak sensitivity levels and polling rate, and it allows users to view battery level.

The innovative concealed carrying loop can be effortlessly slipped over the user's finger, making it especially useful when moving from a workstation to a meeting room. The strap can also be used to hang the mouse when not in use for a neater workstation. SmartO Mouse MD200 also includes a thumb rest to ensure comfort, even after hours of use. The mouse's ASUS Antibacterial Guard protective coat has passed the ISO 22196 international standard and is certified by the Society of Industrial Technology for Antimicrobial Articles (SIAA).

Fast and accurate tracking
SmartO Mouse MD200 features a high-precision 4200 dpi optical sensor that enables it to track accurately on any surface, including glass. Additionally, the gaming-grade 100% PTFE mouse feet ensure a smooth, effortless glide.

Long-lasting performance
The switches used in SmartO Mouse MD200 are rated to up to 10 million clicks - that's 3X the longevity offered by traditional office mice. Additionally, integrated power-saving technology provides up to a year of use on just a single AA battery, allowing users to focus on the task at hand without interruptions.

Extremely customizable
ASUS SmartO Mouse MD200 features a total of six customizable buttons that can be programmed for a one-click screenshot, keyboard functions, Windows shortcuts, and more via Armoury Crate software. Users can use Armoury Crate for additional customization to suit their preferences or work scenario, as well as tweak DPI settings, check battery level, view software updates, and more.

How many marketing buzzwords do you have to use to sell a cheap mouse? As it turns out, a lot. And don't forget, it must be "smart" because consumers are stupid.

Imagine your company decides this is the mouse for the company and buys them in bulk and deploys to all them cubicles including yours. Then the IT department, being IT, decides that Armory Crate is "mandatory" software and doesn't allow you to uninstall it from your work computer. Just when you thought you can run away from using Armory Crate on your home PC, think again.

If you bothered to read your own wiki link, you will see that in the list of uses of PTFE, using PTFE as mouse feet is very common. Why bother linking a wiki page you didn't read? Arrogant much?
