EK, the premium water-cooling gear manufacturer, is introducing a new portfolio of Quantum Line terminals from the Scalar² family. The two products that come in the first wave include EK-Quantum Scalar² Terminal - Plexi and EK-Quantum Scalar² DirectLink Terminal - Plexi. These are see-through acrylic versions of the current terminals for Vector² water blocks and Vector² ABP sets. In the future, the Scalar² family will grow. So, you can expect more similar products like SFF terminals, multi-GPU terminals, and much more.

This see-through terminal replaces the stock black POM acetal terminal on the Vector² GPU water blocks. It has four G1/4" ports, two on the top and two at the bottom. Sleek magnetic covers can be used to conceal the terminal screws that allow rotation of the branding when the GPU water block is inverted in the case or is being used on a vertical GPU mount. The screws and magnetic plate should be re-used from the original terminal and are not a part of the Scalar² package.

EK-Quantum Scalar² DirectLink Terminal—Plexi
This see-through terminal replaces the stock black POM acetal terminal on the Vector² ABP Sets. It connects the water block with the active backplate. Sleek magnetic covers can be used to conceal the terminal screws. They allow rotation of the branding when the GPU water block is inverted in the case or is being used on a vertical GPU mount. The screws and magnetic plates should be re-used from the original terminal and are not a part of the Scalar² package.

The DirectLink flow solution is the first multiple-block solution to implement a conventional 4-port terminal layout, allowing serial and parallel connections from adjacent or opposing sides of the block. It was made possible by adding a machined brass insert in the terminal that diagonally links the water block directly to the active backplate inside the acetal terminal. DirectLink proves invaluable when flexibility is required for the right setup, as in the case of a distribution plate or vertical GPU mount.
  • EK-Quantum Scalar² Terminal—Plexi 29.90€

The alphacool nylon components are far more compelling that plexicracks. Hopefully aphacool make more parts out of clear Nylon!

I suggest they fix up AM5 compatibility issues first.

Cracking point, seen as I cant mount my ek magnitude block to my AM5 socket whilst using the stock backplate....:banghead:
