16" laptop ought to have numpad.

the way they usually cram the numpad in there (all brands basically, maybe to a lesser degree lenovo), makes it pretty much useless. Good thing they omitted it in this particular model.

I checked the product page, out of curiosity for iGPU video outputs. It says nothing specific. Nothing!
As Rembrandt APUs are officially certified for DP 2.0 at 40 Gbps and support HDMI 2.1 FRL, consumers would like to know:
1. Is DP 2.0 output supported on usb-c port or is this just older DP 1.4?
2. Is HDMI 2.1 FRL signal supported, and if yes, at what speed?

Are you able to put these questions to Acer, please?
I am fed-up with laptop vendors not providing specific information about video port capabilities.
It's almost as if we consumers need to beg them to tell us what those ports can really do. Ridiculous. Apologies for the rant.

Acer are notoriously bad when it comes to posting tech specs and I don't actually have a contact there that I can ask. Usually the people "we" as journalist/tech media talk to aren't technical enough to be able to answer the type of questions you want answered anyhow.
You're also asking for details that I don't think any company posts on their websites.
I suggest you contact Acer support or something like that to get an answer.

Asrock, MSI and Gigabyte have nicely posted information about their video port capabilities for all X670 and B650 board. It's doable and no brainer.

For HDMI, Asrock says HDMI 2.1 FRL 8G, which means 32 Gbps port. They also clearly state resolutions, refresh rates, HDR and HDCP version. It is that simple.

Many companies think that clarity and attention to detail are threatening, because it would usually expose their ports with lower spec as less performant. And that is true. So, not telling us details always makes me feel suspicious.

I've grown accustomed to TKL, even numbers work fine in my mind without numpad.

My laptops have one though and I don't use them. I prefer the TKL styled closer vicinity to having to move around while typing. How often and how many numbers you use does have an impact though, but anytime I use numbers I also use other characters a lot. Numpad doesn't quite cover that use case as well as the TKL variant, which has everything but within 'hand's reach'.

Fun fact, when I use the calculator (on PCs) I always use numpad if it's there. The match between UI and KB just works or something.
