Looks like a dream mouse for those of us that wished for a G602 without the shit double-clicking switches and general logitech bottom level quality.

Replaceable batteries, long life, G602-style shape, optical switches.... only thing I'm missing is Asus's accessible-without-destroying-mouse-feet screws...

Still buying it, most probably.

Aye, it's pretty hefty: 96g is the weight without batteries. The Roccat website implies that one AA battery is 23 grams but the Eneloops I have are 26 grams apiece. So realistically 150 grams total weight with two AA batteries.

Not sure about the weight distribution and difference of feel between one and two batteries. For sure the center of gravity will change.

I couldn't find the 8th and 9th button so I assumed the scroll wheel has tilt function as is common on the Kone series mice, but turns out that those last two buttons are just Scroll Up and Scroll Down... Yeah you can assign secondary binds with EasyShift but including basic Scroll swiping into the count of 9 buttons is still pretty misleading on Roccat's side. Honestly the only extra button over most other mice is the third thumb button... And yeah it's disappointingly heavy. Roccat's own Kone XP Air weights exactly the same but includes the battery, tilt scroll, 4 extra side buttons and RGB (useless but adds to weight). Costs more than twice as much though.

Yes.

In Roccat software you can allow sound feedback and voice will tell new DPI when you change it. But not everyone like voice message like this during game, especially when you change DPI frequently. I used sound feedback with Kone more than 3 years and it was nice feature.
