I'm running 6000Mhz CL36 now, it seems my motherboard supports upto 6400 according to the memory QVL.

Maybe it supports higher when you try, not sure..

You won't know until you try.
It seems like you need a 13th gen CPU for those kind of memory clocks though.

I for one demand to see 1080p-4K gaming FPS comparison between DDR5 6400 and DDR5 8000 first before buying into the mighthy 9000+ hype.

Because I can only go to like 7200 on the Z690 Master :) DDR5-8000 is bootable and 7800 is stable on a Z790 Eilte AX though.

Edit: This is with 13900K. I haven't really tried to push Hynix A- Die with that Z690 Master, but I couldn't boot 6600 with a 12900K. Leads me to think that for the most part you need 13th Gen to hit those high speeds. Much better memory controller. Z690 Taychon topped out at 6933 for 12900K, now I've gone up to 7600 with M-Die for 13th gen. Next stop is A-Die.

So as memory clocks and timings keep improving does this mean Raptor Lake will just pull further ahead of Zen 4 as it's basically stuck at DDR5 6000. It's only hope is low latency sticks. Could we ever get DDR5 6000 CL22/24. Is that possible? If they are stuck at CL28 max and Intel's can go probably get good latency sticks beyond DDR5 7200 in due course, Zen 4 looks weaker and weaker in the long term. I hope the v-cache models are also going to help with productivity not just useless gaming. Performance is already shy high with current hardware, how many more fps do you need unless you do e-sports.
