The innovative manufacturer of high-end multi-GPU workstations and professional liquid cooling solutions for individuals and workgroups requiring GPU computation, announces a slim waterblock of top-tier efficiency for GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING OC 24 GB and AORUS RTX 4090 MASTER 24G GPUs.

Given the fact that the latest 4090 GPUs by Nvidia are extremely power hungry, the Comino team did its best to deliver the highest performance 4090 waterblock design, specifically adding:

  • The newly designed anodized aluminium frame and the backplate, for an additional structural rigidity and GPU damage protection
  • High-purity copper cold plate, engineered specifically to dissipate 600 W of heat
  • Large increase (up to 12 times) of the waterblock surface area that contacts with the coolant allows faster heat dissipation. It prevents thermal throttling of GPU keeping temperatures within a safe range even at 24 /7 operation in harsh environment.
  • Full cover waterblock cools the GPU, GDDR and the VRM together
  • Brushed stainless steel panels and bracket for increased strength and looks
  • Direct and angled fittings adapter are provided for optimized tube routing

Comino's RTX 4090 water block is capable of dissipating 600 W of heat pushing thermal performance limits thanks to DFC (Deformational Cutting) micro-fin coldplate structure. This eliminates the need for active cooling of the back side of the GPU, enabling the heat to flow more easily through the waterblock directly to the coolant rather than spreading all over the GPU. Compared to the previous generation RTX 3090 Ti waterblock Comino has increased thermal performance by reducing the pressure drop and using central injection in the micro-fin structure.

"Comino's unique single-slot approach is crucial for high-density computing, meaning you can utilize all of your PCI-express slots and install as many of the ultimately powerful 450-600 WW GPUs next to each other as you need for your application. The only constraints are the power supply and the system's cooling capacity. For example, a Comino GRANDO RM workstation can accommodate 4x4090 GPUs simultaneously, leaving you with 3 PCIe slots to use for other purposes. Another example is the SFF-builds, where a single-slot approach is crucial due to lack of space inside the chassis." said Alexey Chistov, CTO and co-Founder of Comino.

"Stylish industrial design is one of the distinctive features of all Comino water blocks. It is achieved by careful selection of materials and finishing: copper coldplate, brushed stainless steel cover, black brushed anodized aluminium framing and matte plastic thread adapter. This is what makes Comino water blocks stand out." said Pavel Rekunov, Comino's Head of Marketing.

Comino GPU WCB for Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 is available for pre-ordering in two options: with angular and straight thread adapter for fittings on the back. Shipping is scheduled for December 2022. Stay tuned for developments around this liquid-cooled monster to get your hands on its maximum, staggering performance as soon as it becomes available! Comino will keep you updated on the progress.

Never heard of this company but the design is very interesting, especially the inlet/outlet location.

Imagine how flexy the steel top must be to require so many screws...

I really like the terminal location. These cards are already bumping into side panels and other waterblocks are adding another 25mm for terminals which just sucks, especially now that there's 90 and 180 degree adapters to reduce the space the power cable takes.
