With a massive mesh front and metal panel design and flexible configuration options, Antec Inc. presents the latest two additions to the Antec Performance Series: the P20C (with glass side panel) and the P20CE (with sound-dampening side panel). Both versions are now commercially available from 124,99€ (suggested retail price including VAT).

The P20C / P20CE allows limitless possibilities for building a show case. The new flagship is ready to provide users with a more flexible layout as it features seven reusable PCI-E slots for vertical GPU installation. By supporting dual CPU motherboards with a width of up to 330 mm, the P20C / P20CE is the evolution of compatibility. The new chassis adopts a unique metal design, providing a massive airflow. With the full-size dust filter, the case reaches the balance between cooling and easy maintenance. The pin-type metal front panel is effortlessly removable, and the clip-on dust filters make the cleaning process a walk in the park.

The P20C / P20CE measures 483 x 220 x 490 mm (DxWxH) and is compatible with eATX, ATX, micro-ATX and ITX motherboards. In terms of fan support, the case accommodates three 120 mm / three 140 mm or two 185 mm in the front, three 120 mm fans / two 140 mm fans on top as well as one 120 mm fan in the rear and two fans on the PSU shroud. Three 120 mm ARGB fans in the front are already included in this neat gaming case. The included 1-to-4 fan splitter cable makes cable management easy. The built-in Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 port provides transfer speeds up to 10 Gbps. For extra water-cooling, the P20C / P20CE accommodates a 360 mm radiator in the front and on top and a 120 mm radiator in the rear. The case boasts two convertible tool-less 3.5" HDD drive cages (convertible to 2x 2,5" SSDs), two 2.5" SSD mounting spaces as well as seven expansion slots.

Moreover, the chassis has plenty of space for graphics cards with a length of up to 375 mm and effective ventilation, making it particularly suitable for gamers as well. The mid-tower supports high-end air coolers with a maximum CPU Cooler Height of 170 mm and power supplies with a length of 205 mm. Well-designed cable routing makes wiring easy and simple. The cable channels with a cutout on top for stable routing. A removable GPU Holder allows for the GPU to be adjusted up, down, left, and right. The I / O panel features Power and LED control button, two USB 3.0, one Type C 3.2 and Mic and HD Audio jacks. With 23 mm clearance in the rear and a grove on the top as well as eight included rubber grommets, the P20C / P20CE offers sufficient options for cable management, allowing for a clean build and optimized airflow. Three Antec logo cable ties round up this great chassis.

The last time I have been interested in Antec products were P150 and P180 cases, and earthwatts PSUs. Those were very different times.

Even their 900 and 1100 were great cases but generally they have been downhill since then.

I look for them at work.
Believe it or not anime-themed/Optimus-Prime styling and flashing rainbow RGBLED is frowned upon for professional workstations.
Tempered glass also isn't the most practical thing when the uncaring cleaners bash the vacuum cleaner into them every weeknight.

Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Yeah, I still have my P183 as a NAS. It still has the best HDD vibration dampening out of any case, plus the steel inside is basically indestructible (Fractal Design cases by comparison have a crappy rubber mount less than half the size, and you can literally bend their aluminum plates). If you get a drive mount for the top 5.25 slots, it can fit 10+ drives comfortably, the only problem is the middle bay not being able to properly hold drives with no middle screw ports.

Not bad. I would take either of these for a nice clean client build over 90% of the crud that's out there today.

The thing that hurts is is the MSRP of €125. There's good competition offering very similar designs for a lot less money. Corsair 4000D springs to mind and that's often on sale for just €79, normally €99 I think.

I know MSRP and street price aren't the same thing, so we'll have to see what this really sells for once it appears online. In the sub-$/€/£100 market it could be a decent option...

This case is priced right in between the 4000D and the 5000D. It does what the 5000D does, but cheaper.
