ASUS today announced the latest additions to its business-friendly range of ExpertCenter desktop PCs—the all-new ExpertCenter D5 Tower (D500TE) and ExpertCenter D7 Tower (D700TE) models.

Powered by up to the latest 13th Generation Intel Core i9 processor and professional-grade NVIDIA graphics, these new ExpertCenter desktops benefit from a voluminous 27-liter case for maximum expandability. Embracing the ExpertCenter ethos, the new models are meticulously engineered to deliver professional performance, easy maintenance, enterprise-grade security and manageability. They're also built to and tested to military-grade standards of strength and resilience. Sustainability and efficiency are also cornerstones of the ExpertCenter design, from manufacturing and packaging to daily use—achieving multiple certifications for their environmental consideration.

Expansive performance
D5 Tower and D7 Tower are engineered to deliver unwavering business performance, unleashing new levels of productivity. Specifically, D5 Tower is designed to satisfy the needs of modern education and retail supply chains, powered by up to the latest Intel Core i7-13700 processor and 64 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz memory. Upping the performance ante still further to meet the demands of creative, data analytics and manufacturing industries, D7 Tower packs a formidable up to Intel Core i9-13900 and 128 GB of RAM. Both models are also able to draw on superior graphics power, with an up NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU.

Both models are available with an up to 4 TB hard disk drive, plus up to a 2 TB PCI Express 4.0 SSD. This strikes the ideal balance between storage capacity and extreme operating speed, and ensures smooth, lag-free multitasking. High-speed wireless connectivity is also on tap, with up to WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 on offer.

The business-friendly MyASUS app is also included with both D5 Tower and D7 Tower. This is an intuitive portal to a selection of useful ASUS apps that are designed to help users get more out of their computers. For example, MyASUS enables easy management of fan profiles for different scenarios—with a Performance mode to accelerate cooling and maximize computing power. MyASUS also empowers users to pair their D5 Tower or D7 Tower with an iOS or Android device.

Maintenance and connectivity, covered
All ExpertCenter PCs are engineered to be easy to both maintain and upgrade. D7 Tower, for instance, benefits from a tool-free chassis that can be opened up without the need for a screwdriver and a variety of quick-release internal components. As well, both its hard disk and optical drives can be easily removed with just fingers, saving time and effort—making component upgrades and routine servicing easy.

With their capacious, 27-liter tower cases D5 Tower and D7 Tower are built to grow with business, with generous room for expansion cards and other upgrades. This modular-design ethic enables firms to expand the capabilities of D5 Tower and D7 Tower to match new or evolving business needs, eliminating the hassle and expense of having to buy replacement devices.

In addition to the benefits of modularity, the tower design also allows for a full spread of I/O ports - ensuring that both D5 Tower and D7 Tower are able to connect to a broad range of peripherals and external devices. This provides business with the reassurance that their existing devices will be able to connect easily, while offering the freedom to embrace new peripherals and technologies as need arises.

Business-strength security
D5 Tower and D7 Tower have been created with serious security in mind. For example, an optional TPM 2.0 chip is also available to securely store key authentication information, including passwords and data-protecting encryption keys. This provides businesses with the reassurance needed that important data, from work-in-progress projects to R&D, is safe from prying eyes. It also ensures that user credentials are stored securely, and that access to company networks is granted only to authorized users.

D5 Tower and D7 Tower also benefit from ASUS Business Manager, which includes USB Blocker data-movement controls, system back-track to restore the system to its optimal status, and an encrypted virtual partition to store important data. Physical security is also covered, with the inclusion of a Kensington lock slot to tether the case to a fixed object.

Exceptional durability
As high-performance PCs designed for business, D5 Tower and D7 Tower are built to last—and constructed to ensure they're able to meet or even surpass the most demanding industry requirements. This includes the latest MIL-STD-810H US military standards, as well as exacting in-house testing by ASUS.

To ensure D5 Tower and D7 Tower are ready for the rigors of life in the office and other business environments we shake them, shock them and drop them. We expose them to extreme temperatures and humidity levels, and even test the packaging we use to ship them. All this ensures that they're tough enough to withstand everyday knocks and bumps, from delivery to daily productivity.

D5 Tower and D7 Tower are also built on the foundation of ASUS motherboards—the world's best-selling brand—which are renowned for offering comprehensive system protection to safeguard hardware, 24/7 stability through extensive testing of their own and consistent performance.

Environmentally considerate
As with all ExpertCenter models, D5 Tower and D7 Tower are also exemplars of the ASUS commitment to sustainability, efficiency and renewability with designs from product to packaging that seek to minimize their impact on the environment. For example, the shipping carton used to protect D5 Tower and D7 Tower is manufactured using 90%-recycled paper fibers. As well, the modular nature of D5 Tower and D7 Tower is an example of ASUS Design Thinking, helping to contribute to longevity by enabling easy upgrades and maintenance. Both are equipped also with an up to 80 PLUS Bronze power supply unit (PSU) to elevate energy efficiency.

White. Or not 80+ labeled at all, I guess.
I would guess the same since I have never seen worse than it besides trash.
I hate PR drivel these days.
And parts of it are total drivel.

I don't think you are qualified to tell what is professional level or not if you think the shape of the computer box matters.

Just an FYI, I have over 30 years of CAD/CAM experience in the Engineering & construction fields, and I can tell you without a doubt that when it comes to the productivity and competitive expectations of today's business world, the above listed parts simply DON'T cut it.... 5 years ago, maybe, but certainly not today.....

As far as my opinions on the appearance of the current crop of pc boxes are concerned, they are also a direct result of my work experience, because my coworkers are a finnicky bunch, who pay considerable attention to design, form & function details, or as with this box (and so many others), the lack thereof :)

Perhaps you should think a little moar before you pass judgement on anyone's "qualifications" , especially someone you do NOT know anything about nor have never met in person :D
