Also releasing today is their second generation of Glacier One T30 AIO liquid cooler. The Phanteks Revolt SFX 850 W is ready for the most powerful next-gen hardware in a super-compact SFX footprint. It was built according to the new Intel SFX12V 4.0 platform specifications, which mirror the ATX 3.0 specifications, and comes with native PCIe Gen 5 12VHPWR support out-of-the-box. The high efficiency, 80 PLUS Platinum certification guarantees 92% efficiency at 50% system load.

In collaboration with Seasonic, Phanteks AMP Series are high quality 80 Plus Gold Certified power supplies. Glacier One T30 AIO

In the age of atx 3.0 they're only offering a single 850w unit, with no info as to the OEM. But they're releasing a new 1000w Seasonic based unit. Neither will make inroads at their current placement. They should have gone 1000w with their atx 3.0 unit. With the right OEM, they would have sold truckloads.

Both AIOs are almost comedically overpriced given that you can buy an Arctic Freezer II 240/360 for ~$100/140 plus T30s for $60/90 thus saving ~$30 and likely getting better performance.

Yep and the arctic's have vrm cooling and a thicker core. You won't be able to plug the fans into the integrated fan controller because the amperage is too high, but that's what I'm using to great success. Got a refurb for 70 bucks back when they updated the gasket last year.

It's a SFX unit, most SFX units are 550w to 750w. Corsair lists their highest power SFX unit at 750w as does Seasonic so 850w is a lot of power for a SFX. Seasonic made their 750w revolt and has been Phanteks go to OEM so there is a pretty good shot they also make the 850w.

You're looking at the part that plugs into the PSU which just means the ports on the PSU are capable of 300W. The number of pins don't necessarily limit capability for example EPS12V for CPU power is also an 8 pin connector, but it's rated at 300W.

Brother man, you do make sense in some sort of knowledge .. BUT... 16ga wire can only handle up to 13Ah in perfect world, so 13ah x12v =156 watt per connector. And I understand what you're saying, that power supply can produce even more... But for all that power, it will be impossible to be squeezed through this 16 gauge wire. It's like trying to squeeze all the water pressure of Hover's dam, through garden water hose, expecting same amount of output, versus man height pipes. Make sense?

I agree but what does it have to do with achieving 600 w. As you know lots of companies making 8pin x 4 to sustain 600 advertising watts with new NVIDIA plug. White bother if you can go with 2 then. Marketing... all I can say

You are confusing the connectors coming from the PSU with the ones leading to the GPU. The latter are rated for 150w, the former can be rated for as high as the PSU designer made it out to be. Usually it's at 300w per connector..

I agree but what does it have to do with achieving 600 w. As you know lots of companies making 8pin x 4 to sustain 600 advertising watts with new NVIDIA plug. White bother if you can go with 2 then. Marketing... all I can say
