ZALMAN today introduced the ZM-K610, a 65% format (68-key) wireless mechanical gaming keyboard. It offers hot-swappable key switches, letting end-users not just replace broken switches on-the-fly, but also mix and match switch types, giving specific keys a certain kind of switch. The keyboard uses Gateron-sourced G-Pro series switches, with hot-swappable sockets. You can mix between Blue, Red, Brown, and Yellow switch types. The ZM-K5610 comes in two trims—blue+white, and white+gray. Both offer PBT resin keycaps, with individual RGB LED illumination. The keyboard offers wired and 2.4 GHz RF wireless connectivity with fast 1000 Hz polling-rate; and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity with 125 Hz rate. A 3,000 mAh rechargeable battery provides up to 73 hours of use (measured with the lighting turned off). Measuring 311 mm x 103 mm x 40 mm, the ZM-K610 weighs 764 g (without cable). The company didn't reveal pricing.

Oh my, yet ANUTHA toyish-looking, scrunched-up keeb for da kiddies to play with :)

I've used some of Zalman's products in the past & always thought they were of good quality, but I did not realize they had stooped down to this level...so sad IMHO...

Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
i'm 41 with a space constrained desk ... and i use a DK440R (GAM-100CH) 65% keyboard from Deltaco, which has the same layout and most features of that one...

feature i'd love to have : swappable switch and 1000mAh more on the battery
feature my actuall KB, but this one does not have : front engraved legends

if that ZM-K610 cost more than 120$ but less than 160$, which was about the total cost of my previous Glorious GMMK TKL barebone plus 120 Gateron red and white keycaps (the DK440R is priced between 65 and 88chf/$ depending on promotions) it would be a tad pricey but still worth it, due to the swappable switches.

i wonder if it's the same OEM as the aforementioned Deltaco DK440R or Deepcool KG722 (which is a DK440R type, without wireless options)

yes yes aRGB is for... hum... those who like to be able to set all their LEDs to one theme color (well full rainbow puke disco ball is always an option and can be funny sometime ... ) :p

This looks like a solid entry level 65% keyboard. As long, as the price is right, but honestly I would not pick this over my Keychron K6 pro. I really like the QMK/VIA customization.

The K6 pro has 4000mAh. It's a great keyboard and well worth the price. I found one with blue switch for 99 bucks and planned to swap them out with Box-Whites but they are actually pretty good switches.. Regular price on Amazon is 124 usd. I love the OSA profile keys as well.

ah, Keychron, i've heard a lot of good things about them :)

surprisingly in Switzerland i see one listing at a local etailer for 102chf, which is not that high (although 128chf with Gateron red, still acceptable, as i used them on my GMMK TKL and i currently have Kailh Box Red on the DK440R) and i could recycle the front engraved legends keycaps of the DK440R ... ah drat, it's the K6 non Pro

mmhhh wired or BT? no RF 2.4Ghz, that's a letdown ... as i use RF/Wired for the main rig and BT for the HTPC (unfortunately i wouldn't trade RF capability for 2000mAh and swap  )
and one user feedback mention BT does not work on PC o_O eh? that would be surprising ... (maybe it was PEBCAK, at least i hope  )

i guess i will keep my DK440R a bit longer  not that i mind ... it's surprisingly good and sturdy for the price paid (65chf promo a while ago ) and it last quite long on battery even with white ligh on.

The K6 pro has 3 BT profile settings. I have setting 1 set to my Suface laptop 4, 2nd set to my Steam Deck. I leave 3 open to join anything else. I have connected it to my PC using BT, I'm not sure what they are talking about. I mean, if you are happy with your switches then I'd hold off until you want something different. If you do then the K6 or k6 pro isn't a bad option for the price. I will say for the little extra I'd get the pro over the non pro.
