NVIDIA today released the latest version of its GeForce Game Ready drivers. We are awaiting an update from NVIDIA on the game-optimizations, since the changelog accessed by us isn't clear on that. The drivers do address a handful issues. Firstly, a bug that caused abnormally high CPU utilization for the NVIDIA Container internal process of the driver, has been fixed. Stability issues on certain laptops with GeForce GTX 10/MX250/350 series GPUs has been fixed. Certain Adobe CC application stability issues with the previous 531.18 drivers has been fixed.

Did they just forget about the previous driver(s) issue?

Doesn't appear on the fix list or the known issues

Good catch. This happens once in a while. Unless they explicitly mention it as fixed, I would say it is still an open issue.

They did the same with Dolby Atmos audio stutter issue, which disappeared from bug list for 5 odd releases, then suddenly showed up in fixed list, when it got fixed.

Install and try?

You're the one with the issue.

This catched my eye too, I will test my DPC latency later on with this driver and see if I still get that spike from the nVidia driver that refuses to get back into it's place.

This dpc latency really annoys me. Sometimes feels like I’m watching a YouTube or twitch video in slow motion. It occurs randomly and disappears as well. I can spend days watching stuff smoothly, then there are bad days when it doesn’t go away even after rebooting.

hi,

Do you know why I get FPS drops when I record a game?
First, when I pressed the REcord button it was 200 FPS Now it's dropping to 100 sometimes 90..
It's peculiar, maybe any suggestions?

DPC latency still hasn't been fixed with the nVidia driver.

Oh, it has a bigger impact than that, it's also what causes a lot fo the 1% lows within games etc, it might just be for 2 micro seconds, but it results in a stutter, I HATE stutters.
