[Editor's note: Our in-depth review of Antec Performance 1 FT Case is now live]

With outstanding cooling performance and lots of useful features, Antec Inc. presents the latest flagship of full towers, the new Performance 1 FT. Featuring an airflow-enhanced front panel design, magnetic front filter, and four pre-installed PWM fans, this new chassis provides efficient airflow and great cooling performance. The case is now commercially available from MSRP US$159.99.

The new Antec flagship supports the latest RTX 40 Series GPUs. Considering the increasing demands for CPU and GPU cooling, Antec designed the Performance 1 FT to enhance the air intake, improve the cable routing, and enable an easy installation with various options. The new temperature display function allows to keep control of the components. The display screen located on the case top allows users to check the temperature of the GPU and CPU at a glance. It addresses the need for temperature monitoring without purchasing expensive cooling kits.

For improved cooling-performance, Antec combined the gird-shaped dust filter and combined it with the magnetic louver front panel, providing massive airflow and allow for easy maintenance. The mesh front panel adopts 1.2 mm vent holes which reaches the balance between ventilation and dust prevention. Tool-free side panels and the removable top radiator bracket make the installation very pleasant.

The Performance 1 FT supports up to 10 fans, 3 x 140 mm/120 mm fans at the top, 3 x 140 mm/120 mm fans at the front, 1 x 120 mm fan in the rear, and 3 x120mm fans at the top of the PSU shroud to enhance the cooling. It comes with three pre-installed Storm 140 mm PWM fans of 30 mm thickness at front and one Storm 120 mm PWM fan of 30 mm thickness in rear, providing highly efficient airflow and cooling performance. The fan blades are thicker and longer, efficiently increasing the air intake. The fan thickness increased from the standard 25 mm to 30 mm to efficiently enhance the air volume, upgrading the performance. The PWM function automatically detects and adjusts the fan speed for CPU heat dissipation in different environments. It also helps to decrease fan noise. The included 1 -to -3 fan splitter cable supports PWM function and makes cable routing easy. Both 4 mm edge -to -edge tempered glass side panels with drop -proof design decrease the risk of dropping during installation, as the panels come with a clip-on design and captive thumbscrews. The top and side panels can be removed easily and tool-free.

The Performance 1 FT measures 522 x 230 x 522 mm (DxWxH) and is compatible with e-ATX, ATX, micro-ATX and ITX motherboards. The case boasts two convertible tool-less 3.5" HDD drive cages (convertible to 2x 2,5" SSDs), three 2.5" SSD mounting spaces as well as eight expansion slots. The Performance 1 FT supports a 420 mm radiator in the front, 360 mm on top and 120 mm in the rear. It also supports 360 mm radiators at the front and top simultaneously.

Moreover, the chassis has plenty of space for graphics cards with a length of up to 400 mm and effective ventilation, making it particularly suitable for gamers as well. The full tower supports high-end air coolers with a maximum CPU Cooler Height of 175 mm and power supplies with a length of 245 mm. Well-designed cable routing makes wiring easy and simple. The cable channels with a cutout on top for stable routing. With 30 mm clearance in the rear and total of ten sets of Velcro straps for cable management, the Performance 1 FT allows for a clean build and optimized airflow. Two cable covers are also included to beautify the cable management area.

Furthermore, the case features eight individual PCI-e slot covers. Its open design supports most of the vertical GPU brackets. The I / O panel features Power, Reset and MIC/Audio jacks, two USB 3.0, one Type-C 3.2 and the Temperature Display Switch button. The case also comes with dust plugs for dust prevention.

Sorry if I bored you.....

n/O/t....

As with all things here & other places, I express my opinions, good, bad or otherwise, without concern for who may or may not agree/disagree with them....which I thought I read somethin somewhere saying this was allowed....hummm....

Oh yea, I know, that little ole thing called the US Constitution, specifically that silly part about "Freedom of Speech", hehehe :D

And I will give credit where I feel it is due, but by the same token, I will give criticism where I feel it is due also.... If that means I sometimes repeat myself in more than one thread, then so be it...

And virtually every Antec product I've ever seen, heard of, read about, or used deserved significant criticism due to their low build quality, lack of features, flaky and/or bottom of the barrel implementations of existing standards etc....

That pic of the case on the desk seems misleading to me, it looks like a mid-tower, not a full tower case. A full tower would be taller and take up more space on the desk.
