I have the original Pulsefire Haste (wired version for my gaming rig and the wireless one for my laptop)

This remains to be seen and tested. There is plenty examples of 'accidental' double clicks or mis-click mice out there with "reliable" switches.

Optical switches or GTFO. We're not paying for trash mechanical switches with a doubleclick expiration date any more.

At most, I could entertain the thought of purchasing a mechanical switch mouse if it had a hotswap mechanism and spare switches inside, like Asus does on some mice.

Screw mechanical switch "500 million" garbage that peters out and starts doubleclicking before you reached 1 million clicks. Screw mechanical switches . Screw needing soldering skills to keep a mouse working past two years.

PS: And by the way, the first mouse manufacturer that doesn't hide screws under the gliding pads, thus necessitating destroying the pads in order to open up the mouse, should get an award for not being morons. So many things to make mice better, and they keep churning the same crap.
