The Philips 45B1U6900CH combines two desktops and a webcam in one setup. This monitor is equipped with a large, 44.5-inch (113 cm diagonal) screen with 5120 x 1440 resolution and several other features that are designed to aid professionals' multitasking, such as: a 5 MP webcam, USB-C docking with RJ45, a 32:9 SuperWide screen, and a curvature of 1500R with viewing angles of 178/178 degrees.

Instead of having two separate monitors, the Philips 45B1U6900CH's 44.5-inch screen and 32:9 SuperWide ratio allows professionals to easily open multiple windows on one large screen surface and have an extra-wide perspective for viewing video content. In addition, the monitor's curved VA panel provides wide, 178/178-degree viewing angles for crisp, high-contrast imagery and an overall more immersive experience.

"We are very happy to announce the release of the Philips 45B1U6900CH," Xeni Bairaktari, Global Marketing Lead of Philips Monitors and IT Accessories, said. "The screen's size and ratio together with the additional features, like docking and the noise-cancelling microphone and 5 MP webcam, make it an ideal choice for those that have really high expectations from their monitor."

A 5 MP webcam for a better video conferencing experience
Another key asset for optimal productivity is the Philips 45B1U6900CH's pop-up webcam. Optimised for a better video experience, the monitor is equipped with a noise-cancelling microphone and a built-in 5 MP webcam for high-quality meeting calls.

In addition to a better experience, the pop-up 5 MP webcam also aids individual productivity with Windows Hello ; the advanced sensors for facial recognition log each user into all of their Windows accounts within seconds.

Additional features of the Philips 45B1U6900CH
Another important and notable feature that will improve workspaces is the USB-C Docking with RJ45. With this docking system, professionals can connect to the network with RJ45, set up power delivery to their connected devices, experience high-resolution video output, and connect an external device for high-speed data transfer.

The Philips 45B1U6900CH has even more features to offer that can help professionals complete their daily tasks. These include, but are not limited to: VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification for high-quality colouring on the screen, a headphone hook for easy stowage, and MultiClient Integrated KVM for controlling a two PC setup on the same monitor. And last, but not least, the monitor's TUV Rheinland Eyesafe RPF 50 certification that ensures protection against blue light-induced eye strain with its ever-present blue light filter on the display.

Availability of the Philips 45B1U6900CH
For professionals aiming to boost workflow productivity, the Philips 45B1U6900CH monitor is the ideal choice for meeting those needs.

The monitor is already available for purchase at a price of £1029.99.

Wow...so they took the 5120x1440 resolution on a panel that's a around 4.5" smaller than the the other super ultrawides...I'd be interested if you're able to notice the increase in ppi...it only goes from approximately 109 to 120, but still interested if thr difference is noticeable

Anyone interested in Ultrawides should check this out, it's a 5K (Im assuming 5120x2160) ultrawide with 120hz refresh rate, a mini-led quantum dot panel, 2300 dimming zones and 1500 Nits and I guess itll come in a range of sizes from 34" to 100"+...seems like it'd be pretty nice. I get that the bigger ones are for signage, but itd still be cool to give a giant ultrawide a try. ...they also offer a 21:9 5K micro-led panel in large size

Yes, those Jupiters look very nice. We'd all like to have one. But have you any idea what the price is for the Pana X 21:9? It's a bit like seeing a review of a VW Golf, and then someone chiming in... "if you like cars, take a look at this Ferrari Special Limited Edition, place your order now for delivery next year".

I imagine the 34" should be relatively affordable..I just thought other non-16:9 panel enthusiasts would be interested in it since I just discovered it
