MINISFORUM is proud to announce the release of its latest device, the B550 PRO, an upgraded version of the B550 model. This Mini PC can be transformed into a full-sized gaming desktop when connected to an SFX power supply and discrete graphics card, offering users a versatile and powerful computing experience. Powered by the AMD B550 chipset and supporting Ryzen 5000 series CPU and APU (Up to 5800X processor), the B550 PRO is capable of handling daily office tasks and large-scale gaming.

This device's standout feature is its versatility, with a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot allowing direct connection of desktop discrete graphics cards through the PCIe 3.0 x16 interface on the chassis and the PCIe 3.0 x16 slot on the included expansion dock. The device also includes a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot, which is added into the docking station, enabling the addition of an SSD or network card expansion card, and enhancing the device's overall versatility.

With the SFX power supply integrated into the external case, the B550 PRO can be powered with a single power supply, transforming the Mini PC into a full-sized gaming desktop. Plus, the device also comes with a standalone DC power supply option for added convenience.

The B550 PRO is equipped with a variety of peripheral interfaces, including 1 USB-C, 7 USB-A, 1 HDMI, 1 DP, 1 Gigabit Ethernet port and 1 headset microphone jack. These interfaces easily meet the user's various needs for peripherals, providing a better overall experience.

In summary, the B550 PRO is an innovative and mature product that builds on the success of its predecessor. It offers improved CPU compatibility and motherboard stability, and boasts increased USB interfaces and expansion slots. The device's overall structure has also been optimized for a more reasonable and user-friendly design, making it easier to install and use. With a sleek and modern appearance, the B550 PRO is not only powerful, but also easy on the eyes. And with the included small bag, you can take your device with you wherever you go, making it perfect for a variety of operations at any time and in any place.

Jokes aside, anyone here have or had MINISFORUM PCs? How is their build quality and customer service? Thanks.

I have the original b550. It runs great. Equipped a 5700g, 32gb ddr4 3600 & 1tb nvme. Supposed to only support ddr3200 but have ddr3600 running fine. Build quality is good. Lots of little extras included.
I used to have a zotac mini PC over a decade ago, and served its purpose well. I have been seeing several news posts lately about this company's products and thought I would ask for some feedback. Thank you for your response. And welcome to TPU!

I bought a UM700 for cheap with 3750H CPU, DP/alt Type-C port, and dual LAN ports. Build quality is very solid, and its versatility / design thoughtfulness is really appreciative. I actually ended up using it more than my DIY-built SFF PC.

The one shown in this article seems a bit of an odd ball though. Why B550 chipset but no PCIE4x16 slot (PCIE3x16 instead)?

Thanks for the feedback, I may end up getting one of them down the line. Welcome to TPU!

I believe it's the riser card that is PCIE3x16, not the slot on the motherboard.

Haha lame attempt at going viral

At least the concept looks much better designed than the original iteration
