well I did say, "but only if"
RYZEN 7600 I would assume to have the 2CU iGPU...

Radeon 7600, now...

I would assume it targets the 4060 non-ti level of performance.

He meant RX 7600, it's a thread about GPUs
Yeah, I know. But he said Ryzen 7600, hence my comment saying it wont win many battles in graphics perf.

You don't even need FG. You can have a GPU not 1, not 2, but 1000 numbers higher than last gen. What more can you ask for? :rockout:

Can't wait to undervolt it to 65 watts and power it by a brick. 4060 Ti should be 30% faster. very tempting.

I have set my filter to only show 16GB awaiting for the real 4070 or 4080 LE, and this abomination of a lackluster would now show up to muddy the waters, and people would buy it solely because of 16GB.
but it will run buggy console ports flawlessly I guess.

Idk, I could see these priced $100 apart, targeting different performance segments. That's why I'm eagerly awaiting the reviews.
according to rumors ( I mean carefully placed leaks) the RTX4060ti 8GB is going to be $399 with the RX 7600 coming out at $299 but after the news of the RTX4060ti price drop from $499, to 449 to 399 the RX7600 seems to be $249 which isn't too bad and a price point desperately needed

4060 = 3060 8GB perf

based on a few sites they are saying RTX 4060ti 8GB will offer RTX 3070 like performance w/ DLSS 3 support

Yeah but that's a different allegation:

4060 Ti = 3060 Ti perf

I'm pretty sure this is not gonna happen. 15-20% generational improvement, definitely possible. 0, nope, Nvidia may be greedy, but they aren't completely stupid.

It's been a while since Nvidia re-released cards under a different name (meet the 9800GT, same as the 8800GT) but they had little pressure from ATI back then. We know the chip is different so yeah, 0% improvement is highly unlikely and AMD would have a field day with it if it was.

I thought the rumor was the 4060Ti is to be like a 3070 in terms of performance, guess we just wait and see.

The performance of 4060Ti is: 3060Ti · 1,20 ___ and ___ 4070 · 0,80

This is between 3070 and 3070Ti. It's closer to the 3070Ti than the 3070.

And the GTS 250 which came a year after the 9800 GTX. Both were basically the same GPU but the GTS 250 offered twice as much VRAM (1 GB).

Don't forget that the 9800 GTX was pretty much the same as the 8800GTS 512.

I don't think a Ryzen 7600 is gonna win many battles in graphics performance.
It's expected to be barely faster than the 6650XT. All I can see it bringing to the table is lower power. If it's $250 it'll do ok, if it's $300 why bother when a 10GB 6700 is ~$270

RTX 4070 ~ RTX 3080

5888 Cuda at 50% higher clock ~~ 8704 Cuda
64 Rops at 50% higher clock ~~ 96 Rop
504 GB/s /w L2 ~~ 760 GBs equivalent only upto 1440p.

Now with RTX 4060 Ti we have

4352 Cuda @ 3.0 Ghz ~~ 6528 Ampere Cuda @ 2 Ghz and more than a 3070 Ti

Yeah my bad.

Here's hoping these breath some new life into the more affordable segment.

Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
Looks like $399 is going to be the base price for this, so partner models and OC variants likely to be $20-80 more, and likely best avoided as the 3060Ti is likely locked down so hardy by Nvidia that the premium models achieve nothing of value.

I'm not enthusiastic for an 8GB card which "trades blows with the 3070" given that you can buy brand new 3070 cards for $399 after rebate and their used value on ebay is closer to $300 now.

I'm not even sorting by price here, this $270-310 is just the going rate of recently sold 3070 cards in the US:

I think they can still change the price, but if that's the price it will be meh, just like the 4070. It depends on how much they are willing to lose ground in the DIY market, cause the AI market seems to be gong great for them.
