Giga Computing, a subsidiary of GIGABYTE and an industry leader in high-performance servers, workstations, and mini-PCs, today announced a newly designed ultra-compact, mainstream mini-PCs for the BRIX lineup, and they adopt the 13th Gen Intel Core U-series mobile processor. With Intel's 7 nm manufacturing process that produces Performance-core (P-core) and Efficient-core (E-core) architectures, users can benefit not only in a performance boost, but also compute with greater efficiency. Besides its lightweight, compact footprint, all new mainstream BRIXs still deliver powerful computing that fits perfectly in any IoT employment, whether for office use, education use, home use, digital signage, medical care, or KIOSK.

Upgrade to the future: Minimalism meets power
The most recent generation of mainstream BRIX products in 2023 adopts an all-new chassis design. Computing performance has increased, but the design does not require an increase in the size of the chassis. Its appearance has curved, soft, and twisted lines with a liveliness that makes it very unobtrusive. By the way it was assembled and layered, and designing oblique angles around the base, a sense of simplicity is created to achieve a lightweight design. This allows users to enjoy ultimate computing performance while also having a stylish and elegant product.

The New Generation of 13th Gen Intel Core Mobile Processors in 2023
With 13th Gen Intel Core U Processors, Intel advanced its hybrid design and made it even better than our previous product with 10th Gen Intel processors. The new 13th Gen processors in 2023 boast more powerful P-cores allowing for swift and seamless completion of tasks, while the improved E-cores enable even better multi-tasking, making it easier to tackle several tasks at once.

These advanced processors also deliver stunning graphics and unparalleled connectivity, providing an unparalleled immersive display and lightning-fast wired and wireless connections. You can scale BRIX from BRi3H (Intel Core i7-1315U) with a total of 6 cores to BRi7H(S) (Intel Core i7-1355U) that has a total of 10 cores and a turbo frequency up to 5 GHz (P-cores). Additionally, the product supports Intel Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+), next-gen Intel Iris Xe Graphics, and enhanced image processing to enjoy a balance of performance and value wrapped into a BRIX that's right for you. Compared to the prior BRIXs with 10th Gen Intel Core processor, the new 13th Gen processors can easily boost performance, as much as 88% in multi-threaded workloads and up to 140% in single-threaded ones. With the above benefits, users can experience faster browsing and better productivity to accomplish more.

Offering All the latest Technologies you want
The all-new mainstream BRIXs features all the latest technologies you want. Enhanced by the latest Intel Iris Xe Graphics, the new BRIXs offers optimized graphics performance for users to experience greater 4K detail. The new Intel Iris Xe Graphics engine supports HDMI 2.0b and Mini DP 1.4a, and they can used at the same time on multiple monitors with up to 3840×2160 @ 60 Hz resolution, providing excellent computing performance on four 4K displays (two from HDMI ports and two from USB type C ports with DP alt mode) for either video playback, video editing, general home use, or commercial applications. To consolidate cable management, all display connectors are now on the rear side. It can make for a cleaner and less cluttered environment. In addition to the above, these new models can support Type-C connectors with speeds of 5 Gb/s as well as dual M.2 SSDs and one 2.5" HDD/SSD to deliver a fast and smooth user experience. Of course, if you need more storage capacity, then you can choose the HS version which comes with an additional two M.2 slots. Fortunately, it still supports VESA mount, which allows the product to be easily mounted behind a monitor or TV, offering a simple and effective way to turn any VESA-compliant display or TV into a full-featured PC or digital signage unit.

The Perfect Fit for Any Space
Challenging the essence of how we define a desktop PC, Giga Computing has developed an ultra-compact, low power PC with impressive performance in a minimalistic design. Ideal for a broad range of computing applications at homes, schools, or offices, BRIXs expounds sheer simplicity and convenience. With a broad choice of Intel mobile processors covering the entire performance spectrum, BRIXs sets a new standard for desktop miniaturization that makes it a perfect fit for a discreet HTPC/multimedia hub, an ultra-low power PC for the family, office, or school, or as a digital signage unit.

Gigabyte, why not HDMI 2.1 FRL ports and PCON finally? Older 2.0b ports with 18 Gbps bandwidth cannot drive 4K/60 10-bit RGB monitors. Those older ports top out at 4K/60 8-bit RGB picture.
