Listings for two custom AMD Radeon RX 7600 GPUs have appeared on PC Canada's webstore, according to VideoCardz - who were notified by keen-eyed locals from the Great White North. The online electronics seller has likely created these page entries by mistake - the information on hand is not exactly refined, indicating that the temporary text has come straight from hardware distributors - Althon Micro is Sapphire's chosen distribution and support partner for North American territories.

The prematurely published pages show that the Sapphire Pulse and MSI Mech 2X Classic models are both overclocked and specced with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory. The custom graphics cards are not ready to purchase, as expected, with an indication of zero units being in-stock. At the time of writing, PC Canada has the Sapphire RX 7600 PULSE OC listed at $335.80 (451.99 CAD), and the MSI Mech 2X RX 7600 at $329.85 (443.99 CAD). These prices are subject to change, given that the information presented seems to have originated from placeholder sources.

Will wait for the price to drop and given current enviorenment it wont be too long for prices of after market cards to settle under $300 mark.

so not the 250usd! some users here are going to be shocked. I told you so.

Seriously, if 8gb is bad, the price doesn't make it not stutter, so i don't really see the point to this.

Canada has a VAT so those cards will be closer to $300 USD.

I will wait for reviews. I got a 6600 at in November for $270 CAD. See if the performance increase % matches the price increase %.

Canada has a VAT so those cards will be closer to $300 USD.
Depends on the province. Here in Ontario the province sales tax is 8% and the federal is 5%. Together they call it HST Harmonized Sales Tax for 13%. Also the tax is Not included in the list price. It’s added to list price at cash/check out.

The listed price of $330 is exactly the release MSRP price of the 6600 so its probably just a placeholder. I would say price is still unknown at this point.

Books are even worse. Food forget about it but when deals are on they don't last very long. Then for PC you have the distributor that could care less about the narrative and prices products accordingly. As an example it doesn't matter how much people bash the 6700XT you will not get one for less than $489 but when the 6600Xt Asus Dual was not selling they put it for $269 and sold so many it went up to $329 and has not come down.

I don't think there are any Cars made in Canada for the Canadian market.

I love hearing Canadians whinge about prices compared to US. Try living in the EU or Australia, those Canadian prices are a bargain. Also US prices are not advertised with state taxes, which on average are ~8%. In Australia it is illegal not to advertise the actual price customer will pay, that is we have to include the flat 10% GST in the list price, none of this BS at checkout when you are committed.

The US gettting better pricing is true, but we don't hide sales tax here as a dirty trick.

Our constitution is just framed differently than yours.
States each have their own bill of rights and in some states what you're suggesting simply would not fly.

I believe Canada does the same thing as tax rates can vary in different provinces.

Hopeless having two levels of taxes. In Australia on the Feds leverage tax, so we have a 10% flat rate GST. The Feds gives each sate a share of the GST based on population/szie etc. About 95% goes to the states.

What's a Bill of Rights got to do with having to advertise the actual price paid while browsing items?

The states have jurisdiction over their sales tax rates here and many other rules around them, some require you to list it separately.

The price will make or break this card. That RX 7600 must go for less than 300... actually, around 250. No more than that.

i was watching a documentary about those trains in the US that derail every 2 minutes, some with those toxic gifts to the population, does Socialism also cover that?
this is just an example, i could have got much more. You get what you pay for i guess.
