Nah not total useless, think about buying a new type of HeatSink and "!FAN!"f for your RAM. I'm not to sure if would provide any performance increase (which it could) but it would look kool. This just opens up new ideas and more opportunities in a world where technology is getting smaller and smaller.

Graphics cards sure arent getting smaller mister.

Just messing witya.

But on a more serious note I Would think that since these are so small they might be of some use for HDTV's and laptop screens and LCD monitors since that might bring the heat down more when targeting it over specific chips. Also it could possibly allow those chips to work harder thus giving us a better picture. How much of a better picture I have no idea but Im sure that it would have at least a very small increase in picture quality.

these would be for portable devices.

even 1-3CFM at silent noise levels, thats going to double if not triple the cooling availble to these heatsink-less passive devices.

How many of these whould you need to cool a mid-sized atx case? Also how would you go about wiring them? I was tired to figure that out just for the hell of it,even thou I know they are not made for that application. :)
