Some retailers/e-tailers are jumping the gun and listing the upcoming Radeon RX 7600 graphics cards, and the latest one shows custom versions from XFX and Gigabyte, priced between CAD $409.99 and CAD $425.00. This puts them in line with the previously rumored USD $299 price tag for the Radeon RX 7600.

Although the listings from Canadacomputers.com were removed, the information was leaked, and it gives us a general idea about the price of the Radeon RX 7600. Such pricing would put the Radeon RX 7600 in direct competition with the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 non-Ti, scheduled to launch in July. AMD has yet to officially announced the Radeon RX 7600 graphics card, but we expect it to happen pretty soon, considering the rumored May 25th launch date.

Gigabyte Radeon RX 7600 8 GB Gaming OC: CAD 425.00 (US $315)
XFX Radeon RX 7600 8 GB Speedster QICK308 BLACK: CAD 419.99 (US $311)
XFX Radeon RX 7600 8 GB Speedster SWFT210 CORE: CAD 409.99 (US $304)

Unfortunately, RDNA3 is a failure. So we can expect nothing this generation from AMD. It looks more like a refresh than a true new generation.
This is a card that should be priced the same as the current price of the 6600 XT.

Different provinces in Canada have different sales tax rates, ranging from 5% to 15%. Prices displayed at retailers are pre-tax.

So that looks like the MSRP will probably be $299. If that is the case, then the 7600 will be $30 cheaper than the MSRP of the 6600 at launch.

Upon further investigation on Newegg, the 6600 is going for as low as $200 and the 6700 is going for around $300. AMD is really going to be competing with its own last generation in this price range.

But it's not like you can order from the cheapest tax place and save 10%, right? Guess it comes down to where it's getting shipped. Taxes applied at check out.

They will simply stop producing these GPUs that are selling below the MSRP.

Eventually, only RDNA3 GPUs will be available.

AMD has repeatedly stated they have no interest in budget buyers anymore, they are a "premium" brand now.

you're not getting a break on the low end, short of the market telling AMD off they way they are nvidia.

12GB 6700 XTs are frequently as low as $340. Seems like a no brainer to spend just a bit more.
Definitely, although 6700 will not be available forever.

This should be below 300USD MSRP to have any appeal. Otherwise it will be just as meh as Nvidia.

Meh, more lazy low effort engineering in terms of cooling solutions.

Good to see I'm not the only one irked by a 120W card with a triple fan cooler slapped on it.

But it's not like you can order from the cheapest tax place and save 10%, right? Guess it comes down to where it's getting shipped. Taxes applied at check out.

Correct, or at least that's how it is now in the US. I'd assume the same in Canada too since we both have varying tax rates basted on state/province.
A while back unless the website had a warehouse physically located in your state, there was no sales tax at all.
