A $270 card going against a $400 one? I find it hard to believe, but kudos to AMD if they pull it off.
It will compete with the $300 4060, not the $400 one.

Rumors are 6650xt/2080 level performance so that would be more in line with the base model 4060

That's a shame, although it would explain the price decrease at least. I would expect next-gen x600 to perform at last-gen x700 level at least.

It doesn't matter what AMD charges in EU, this will be priced exactly the same as the 4060Ti much like all the other cards in the upper range. So we can "look forward" to 450 euros for this...

You have effectively been gaslit into thinking this price is ok
How so. I paid $330 CAD for an RX 480 however many years ago. This is basically the same price taking inflation into account and is superior in almost every way. Are you one of those people that think everything should be sold at cost?

Getting higher performance should be cheaper over time. NOT more expensive.

That's what he said though. It's a superior card for a similar price.

For people on something like an RX480, it would be a pretty substantial upgrade in raw performance (more than 2x), and value-wise it's....ok. Not great, not terrible. IMO it'd be better to wait for the inevitable sales that follow a couple months after launch. Currently there are lots of discounted RDNA2 cards like the RX6700(XT) that have better bang for the buck.

It is. The 7600 is cheaper (MSRP) than the 6600 (MRSP) at launch. Its improvement might not be much but it’s a lot better than what we’ve seen in past 2 years.
