It's almost like some of us use phones, autocorrecting, text-to-speech and Don't care that there is a misspelling in a informal forum post. I don't have time for these shenanigans.

I also don't really know why there is a debate here at all. Nintendo source code only found in the wii BIOS which is copyrighted, is in the dolphin emulator source code. Fact. End of story. The dolphin guys could just remove Wii emulation support and it would work fine.

@4:44 it is shown the Nintendo source code (common key) inside the Dolphin program. The common key can only be acquired from within the BIOS file, which is copywrite.

Reverse engineering is perfectly legal. That is how the key was derived. Nintendo has no legal ground to stand on here. They are infamous for trampling the rights of the end user and can NOT be counted on to offer objective and impartial information.

The part of the DMCA they refer to does not apply to emulation and fair-use over-rides those concerns, at all times.
