The Nexus Portal NP50 by HYTE isn't just a fan+lighting controller. This is a fully integrated Arm processor-powered device that integrates control for several channels of addressable RGB LED lighting, PWM fan control, multi-zone temperature sensing, and noise sensing. The Nexus Portal application allows end users to find the perfect fan and lighting settings that take into account thermals and acoustics of the machine. The device tucks away into a 2.5-inch drive mount—ideally behind the motherboard tray—from where the various lighting and fan cables can be mounted to it. HYTE also showed off the PQ10 and PQ30 qRGB lighting strips, which provide 24-bit (True Color), and use the USB type-C based Nexus Link interface. The PQ10 is a 33 cm long, 20-diode array, while the PQ30 is a 1 m array with 63 diodes.
