Cooler Master, renowned for its industry-leading PC components, today announced the MA824 Stealth, a cutting-edge air cooler designed to keep your machine cool during the most intense applications. The MA824 Stealth is a testament to our innovative approach to design, boasting a suite of advanced specifications encased in a modern, sleek exterior.

"This high-performance air cooler, featuring our groundbreaking Superconductive Composite Heat Pipe technology, raises the bar in both performance and design," Said Jimmy Sha, CEO Cooler Master." Sleek, efficient, and robust, the Stealth is a statement piece for any setup. We continue to push boundaries for PC enthusiasts, power users, and custom builders worldwide. Welcome to the next level of air cooling with Cooler Master."

Key features and benefits of the MA824 Stealth include:
  • 1. High-Performance Dual Tower: A newly re-engineered dual tower with revised fin thicknesses and gaps to optimize surface area for unparalleled performance.
  • 2. Seamless Copper Base: The nickel-plated copper base ensures maximum contact with the CPU, providing comprehensive and effective cooling.
  • 3. Signature Stealth Design: Featuring an all-black aluminium top cover for a minimalist and sophisticated aesthetic.
  • 4. Dual Staggered Fans: The upgraded Mobius 120 and Mobius 135 fans are arranged in a push-pull configuration to work in harmony with the dual tower, facilitating rapid heat dissipation.
  • 5. Wide-ranging RAM Clearance: The Mobius 120 fan allows for 42 mm of RAM clearance, making the Stealth compatible with a diverse range of builds without sacrificing performance.

Cooler Master's proprietary Superconductive Composite Heat Pipe technology marks a significant advancement in our air cooling solutions. A total of eight superconductive heat pipes are featured in the MA824 Stealth, utilizing a specialized combination of copper powder and grooves. This innovative design ensures efficient and rapid heat transfer throughout the cooler.

The unique composition of different powder sizes within the heat pipes is carefully calibrated based on heat load and application. This optimized balance, perfected by our engineers, enhances the speed and efficiency of heat transfer - the core function of the cooler. Preliminary tests on similar models like the MasterAir 412 Stratos showcase a performance improvement of up to 30% thanks to this technology.

We're excited to announce that the Superconductive Composite Heat Pipe technology is also being implemented in our upcoming models: the MasterAir 412 Stratos, MasterAir 612 Stratos, and the MasterAir TD4 & TD5. The MA824 Stealth, a pioneer in the utilization of this groundbreaking technology, is the ultimate air cooler for all PC building enthusiasts seeking superior performance and design.

Wonder if there'll ever be a "breakthrough" with these things that moves their evolution forward, like the use of a new alloy (aluminum nitride conducts heat better than aluminum, ot maybe an alloy with silver? Just spit balling) or the creation of a new type of heat pipe or something...

I'm honestly surprised the market is not saturated yet, I mean honestly how many people are buying multiple coolers... oh wait...

@freeagent :roll:

don't worry, I bought a AIO that's still sitting in the box because I still prefer the ease of my FC140... going to try to sell it soon I think, I don't know yet.

Why do things that are black get called "stealth" so, so often now?

I can understand 'ninja', but notwithstanding the F-117 things that are stealth today don't need to be black. Moreover, a dual tower like this has an incredibly large RCS, yeah?

(In case you have no sense of geeky humour, this is a half-jokingly take on product naming and cultural stagnation.)

So many weird design choices… the fin spacing, the fans being significantly smaller than the heatsink (I guess ram clearance for the front fan, but still). Don’t all sintered heat pipes offer these “innovations?” Don’t really understand.

Yea, I know what you are sayin here, cause, just like you, I am familiar with the whole "Stealth" mystique and allure, most of which you can thank the YF-12/SR-71 "BlackBirds" for... it was just a known fact back in the day that those types of aircraft normally were only flown at night, during which being black made them literally impossible to see, in addition to the fact that they also almost always were flying at or near the edge of space & upper atmosphere, which again, made them invisible for all practical purposes...

As for the "RCS" of tower coolers per se, I would agree that they would NEVER be considered stealthy in it's usual connotation, since they can immediately be seen lurking in any typical pc case, even when/if they are black :)

However, back on topic....

This cooler is slick looking (& I like it), but still appears to be a slightly moar advanced & industrial-oriented rehash of the Hyper 212, which is what gained CM so many positive accolades in the cooler biz anyways :D

I don't think so At least not for a long while before we see anything worth while.

"Superconductive Composite Heat Pipe technology"... yea... sure.... spin doctoring BullSh!t again... As far as "break through" technology? There will be nothing for us until they squeeze every marketing trick and concept for the current and Old Technology. IMHO it's gotten to a point that people are being scammed by big names and big phrases without actual large performance hits because of it being cheaper to spin doctor facts into illusions than actual R&D. An in the process being charged an arm and a leg in the process.

There is a reason why I am still using a Hyper T2 on my 5900OEM. Because it works nicely and it only has 2 tubes.

One would think so right? I have a NH-D15 on AM4 that I kind of regret buying - it's so bulky, should have gone NH-U14 - and I'm not replacing it unless noctua decides to stop providing mounting kits for new sockets by the time I eventually upgrade to AM6 or LGAwhatever which is not likely given their history.

Noctua is so good about the brackets.. you might be stuck with it for life, lmao

which is honestly a good thing, its a pain sure, but once its it in its in and you are getting nice cold temps

Silver is very expensive and the solar panel industry amongst is bleeding us dry of silver. We may run out in 2050 or so.

What are you guys talking about? It’s competing with bigger AIOs and the likes of the AK620 and DH-15 on their bench, ie top tier air cooler. Granted, their bench is low-power and their methods… questionable, but we must be reading different reviews
