Kolink has brought back one of their fan-favourite PC cases, this time with fancy improvements. Meet the Kolink Inspire K2 Plus! Whilst many features remain the same - if it ain't broke, don't fix it, amiright? - there are a number of ease-of-use upgrades integrated within the design. Plus, an aesthetic glow-up. We all love a glow-up. If your Micro-ATX case is looking a bit shabby or you're itching to start a new build, stick around and see how this classic Kolink chassis has been improved. There may even be some surprise cables, too!

What's New
The Kolink Inspire K2 Plus builds on the much-loved design of its predecessor. There are subtle and more obvious changes that have been made to the chassis. The internals have been improved to facilitate better component support. Enjoy superior accommodation for your high-end hardware and integrated radiator mounts. New features have even been added. Unlike the original K2, this version sports a dedicated PSU chamber to help maintain temperatures and keep the interior looking clutter-free.

The most obvious change is the pre-installed fan on the rear panel. Instead of the classic all-black fan, the Kolink Inspire K2 Plus utilises an ARGB 120 mm fan to match the stylish ARGB strip on the front panel. Pairing a circuitry-esque design with vibrant addressable LEDs makes for a stunning overall aesthetic.

Hardware Support
When it comes to hardware, the Kolink Inspire K2 Plus can support a wide range of products and form factors. As a Micro-ATX case, it can accommodate both MATX and Mini-ITX motherboards. There are four expansion slots and clearance for GPUs up to 300 mm long, making this chassis compatible with an exciting variety of graphics cards. To power your gaming PC, the dedicated PSU shroud fits the ATX PS2 form factor, up to 165 mm long.

Need plenty of storage? The Kolink Inspire K2 Plus can accommodate up to four drives. There is a drive cage that holds either two 2.5" SSDs or two 3.5" HDDs. Upon the back of the motherboard tray, there are two mounts for 2.5" SSDs. Craft yourself some fast and flexible storage!

Keeping Cool
We already know two things about the Kolink Inspire K2 Plus cooling situation: shiny RGB fan and radiator support. I'm already sold, to be fair. Should you want further deets, then read on.

The front panel has mounts for two 120 mm or 140 mm fans. Alternatively, you can mount a radiator up to 280 mm long here instead. The top panel can hold two 120 mm fans, whilst the rear panel has the pre-installed ARGB 120 mm fan. Fancy something a little different? This can be swapped out for an alternate 120 mm fan or even a 120 mm radiator. What's more, there is clearance for a 160 mm tall CPU cooler.

Build the perfect cooling system for your gaming PC!

A Few Extra Details
The Kolink Inspire K2 Plus is all about making a sleek, tidy gaming PC, chock full of options for your hardware. To help with the "sleek, tidy" aspect, there is a dedicated chamber for cable management. The cable pass-throughs are intelligently placed, to make routing nice and simple. For "chock full of options", the fully featured I/O panel provides great support for your peripherals. There is a USB 3.1 and two USB 2.0 ports, as well as an HD audio jack.

But Wait, There's Even More
If you're looking at the Kolink Inspire K2 Plus and thinking, this could use some colourful cables, then we are on the same page! In addition to this updated chassis, we have the Kolink Core Standard Braided Cable Extension Kit available to pre-order. This cable kit is manufactured from 18AWG copper wiring, for reliable performance, and PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) braiding. The plastic utilised for braiding is both durable and flexible, allowing for smooth bends.

There are four cables in this kit, each with three loose cable combs. By only including the core cables, this kit can provide top-notch performance at an affordable price point. What cables, already?! I hear you. This kit includes:
  • 1 x 20+4 Pin (300 mm)
  • 1 x 4+4 Pin (300 mm)
  • 2 x 6+2 Pin (350 mm)

Inspired Plus
We reckon your next build will look fantastic in this chassis. What's more, the Kolink Inspire K2 Plus is available from Overclockers UK, right now! Drop a comment below if you'll be adding this stylish PC case to your set up.

Looks like every other case out there. It's like cars now. All look the same and pretty much function the same with all the same sketchy quality.

Why can't someone make a small console like case that takes matx and a decent sized gpu? I bet it can be done.

Thanks for the review, but this is one of the least interesting, most generic cases on the market. Of all the crazy, innovative, different, interesting, niche cases Silverstone could sample you for review, they send the Yawnfest FARA ZZ2Z....
I still think you're the same person
