As compact as ever with its award-winning 8.3L chassis, the MAGNUS ONE gets a generational leap in power and performance. I would prefer these over a laptop because they have better cooling (temps and noise), from what I can remember. Also, more ports. You just need a portable monitor.
Might even consider it for desktop use, in the future, but I remember they were pretty expensive.

I'm glad they revived the MAGNUS. they're neat set top boxes with juice. However, I'm disappointed they are sticking with intel, when AMD offers a much more efficient processor for such applications. Also the 4070 mobile, which is just a 4060 and a hamstrung GPU with only 8GB of video RAM, which cannot be upgraded.

Interesting, what about pricing? I'd like to see a version of the Magnus that doesn't include Nvidia graphics.

It's so frustrating to me that companies make these announcements but I can't see a price or order one! These look like good products, but it'll all come down to price, which is a giant who knows!

I've been sayin the same thing for many years, but apparently, nobody seems to give a sh^t since it continues to happen time & time again

I just don't see the point of putting out PR's without prices, are we supposed to guess, or worse, assume that they are FREE or something....

I realize the news desk just posts whatever they are given, but I don't understand why they can't just refuse to post them unless the prices are included...

Not enough USB/TB ports IMO. Look nice though and I agree, no Phoenix options (40/45 not rebadged Rembrandt's) mean no interest.

I think I'd still rather have the news piece to make be aware of something that's coming, even if I then have to forget about it until it's actually purchasable! It just means the company is less likely to get my business, because I'm more likely to go buy something else if I can't buy their product. Maybe it has been tested & it results in lots of pre-orders that people cancel later on? That's the only possible reason I can think of.
