Although I'm all for the nice design and uptick in specs/performance of these mini-me boxes, I'm fairly certain that the "extreme Brix" = extreme price too.... :D

What's the HDMI 2.1 bandwidth?
To connect an OLED TV, which is 4K 120Hz 10Bit (for HDR) 4:4:4chroma, HDMI 2.1 FRL5 (40G) is required.

Some Ryzen 7040 mini-PCs advertise 4K144Hz on their HDMI 2.1 output, but this could go as low as HDMI 2.1 FRL2 (18G), depending on what they imply. I think if it was true HDMI 2.1 FRL5 (40G), they'd mention it?

Yeah, I don't think they gonna cost like 400/500 bucks because the ones, who can be get already, cost here 589 bucks bare-bone.

I was gonna order this one or from another manufacturer, but unfortunately people report crashes for both manufacturers.

I'm either waiting for the GB-BER7-7840's availability (could be 3 months or longer? which would be too long) or build an AM5 PC (would be kinda worth it for 5600X vs 7800X3D alone and could cost basically the same vs the mini-PC -- initially wanted to skip first gen AM5 boards+Zen 4) and use my current AM4 as the mini-PC replacement (not mini, but at least it's quiet and stable).

(cant edit my previous post)

When I go to gigabyte.com/Mini-PcBarebone/GB-BER7-7840-rev-10, scroll down to about the middle, click on the tab "Output" and then on the appearing "HDMI 2.1" tab, it compares HDMI 2.0 with HDMI 1.4. So, unfortunately, it looks like this is just HDMI 2.0:

I wonder why there are still no mATX/ITX board with a 7000U APU's on the market?

Ideal for low power budged and Home Theater PC's and Plex servers.

The only thing you see is things like Intel Celeron J41253 and N100, with crappy video.
