Look closely at the pics - You can see the arrows next to the buttons on the left + the bottom one.

I like how the "up" arrow is the bottom-most button.

You're right, I can see the arrow in the first pic.
I wonder how long it would take to retrain my muscle memory to use one of these. Not to mention direction controls on the left seems counterintuitive.

This design is said to be more ergonomic than sticks and has seen actual tournament use in the form of Hit Box. Pretty uncool of them to claim it's innovative though since clearly the inspiration was the hitbox.

The layout is much better. But these have been around for a while now. It's a hitbox. They see use in tournament play. They have a few disadvantages over traditional sticks and those cost just as much, but they have the advantage of being able to hold both directional buttons at once.

You can build your own for cheaper though.

Price is okay as long as the quality is there. With Razer these days I have doubts. Though maybe it's great - we'll see. Cheaper but still good are available on aliexpress for ~$120 plus shipping and higher but you get what you get, there are no fancy faceplates, optical switches, RGB, lock buttons and so on.

The thing with regular hitboxes, like arcade sticks, they are easily serviced and you can get quality parts everywhere these days, but with propietary tech like these switches you are pretty fucked if one of those break. Unless they went for a more open route and used cherry type optical switches like the gateron opticals, I would stay away from this one. The idea and low profile is very good though, I hope the more down to earth brands and chinese makers take a note from this one.
