PowerColor has registered a significant number of AMD Radeon RX 7000-series SKUs with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC)—these enrollments are seemingly always a good source of pre-launch information. Naturally, the ever reliable harukaze5719 has reported on this latest filing. The most interesting new SKUs within this leak appear to be Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics cards lined up in Hellhound and Fighter flavors—perhaps an early hint of Team Red prepping different versions of existing RDNA 3 GPUs. Scott Herkelman, AMD's senior vice president, stated last month that no new RX 7000-series ASICs were in the pipeline. The already released Radeon RX 7600 8 GB GPU is the sole entry within its lower end gaming segment for the current generation.

Technical information is not included with EEC filings, so we can only speculate about the choice of Navi 3x GPU with these leaked XT variants. VideoCardz has questioned the slightly peculiar allocations of 10 GB and 12 GB VRAM specs: "(raising) questions about AMD's choice of GPU architecture. One possibility is that they are using the Navi 33 with unusual 96-bit and 80-bit memory configurations, although this seems counterintuitive as it would result in lower memory bandwidth compared to the RX 7600. The Navi 33 GPU is typically limited to a 128-bit memory interface." Alternatively, they also propose that a "heavily cut-down Navi 32 GPU" could exist that "grants 192/160-bit memory." SKUs based on AMD's unreleased Radeon RX 6750 Golden Rabbit Edition (GRE) GPU are also visible within PowerColor's registration, also sporting 10 GB and 12 GB video memory configurations. Additionally, the Taiwanese graphics card specialist appears to be preparing a couple of white and SAKURA edition Radeon RX 7800 XT and 7700 XT cards.

VideoCardz has compiled the various Radeon RX 7600 XT Hellhound and Fighter SKUs into an easier-to-read list:
  • PowerColor RX 7600 XT Hellhound OC 12 GB (RX7600XT 12G-L/OC)
  • PowerColor RX 7600 XT Fighter OC 12 GB (RX7600XT 12G-F)
  • PowerColor RX 7600 XT Hellhound OC 10 GB (RX7600XT 10G-L/OC)
  • PowerColor RX 7600 XT Fighter OC 10 GB (RX7600XT 10G-F)

I doubt that with these high yields on the N32, AMD will want to sell cheaper chips with shaders disabled.

It is likely that these variants are like the 6700 (non x); created by some AIB, based on the RX 7600 and endorsed by AMD.

Up-clocked 6700xt maybe? Not sure how else they're getting to 12gb when they said they're not rolling out any new chips. Seemed like they already hit the limits of that hardware with the 6750 though.

The 6700XT already has 4-5 variant models, 6700(non-XT), 6750XT, 6750GRE... I hope AMD doesn't come back with the refreshes. Although the 7600 deserved a variant with more memory...

The gap between 7600 and 7700 xt is huge. But if indeed Navi 33 is restricted to a 128-bit memory interface and can't come with a 160 or 192 bit bus, then this potential 7600 xt could be limited for OEM builds only. 7600 is <60% of a 7700 xt, not to mention 7800 xt. How much "heavily cut-down Navi 32" can we expect?

The most reasonable SKUs are 48 CU/12 GB and 40 CU/10 GB ones imho. The former could be yielded from poor 7700 XTs or 6800s, the latter could be made of 6700 XTs or cut-down Navi 21/32.

I sure hope this will not be RDNA2 though.

There's also the matter of lingering stock of Radeon 6000. It is and will be a recurring problem this entire generation and probably the next as they over correct

The 7600 should have always been 160 bit and 10GB and the 7600XT 192 bit and 12GB and the latter $299 max. As it is the 7600 we have is a 7500 in reality that should have been $199. Given the utter trash the 6500XT is, calling the 7600 a 7500 with much better performance would have made a bigger splash for AMD with the promise of a 7600 series that could easily beat out the 6600/6650 cards.

Benchmark Scores Benchmarks in 2024?
Considering the 7700 XT is too expensive and needs to drop to $400, what price tiers would these cards come out at? $300 and $350?

That would make the 12 GB version kind of pointless, unless the CU count is increased substantially over the regular 7600.

Can't they do better at naming the whole lineup?
