The Crew Motorfest is out now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC, and is included with a Ubisoft+ subscription. At launch, the game has over 600 available vehicles, 15 themed Playlists, and four PvP game modes for players to participate in, and it all takes place on the Hawai'ian island of O'ahu. Get ready to speed down the streets of Honolulu, soar above volcanoes in a plane, cruise along the beach in boats, customize your vehicles, and so much more in a game designed to be a car-culture celebration. With everything The Crew Motorfest has to offer, here are our top five ideas for what to check out first:
Experience Motorfest
Motorfest is a car-culture festival, and its grounds will serve as the heart of your experience. At the festival, you'll be able to see massive decorations, murals, inflatables and lot more, designed to honor O'ahu and car culture; show off your car collection; kick off the game's themed campaigns, called Playlists; and participate in online game modes including the Grand Race, Demolition Royale, Summit Contest, and Custom Show. As you explore Motorfest, you'll also see other players driving by, showing off their custom rides as they take part in the festivities as well, and deepening the sense of car-culture community.
Explore O'ahu
While Motorfest is the heart of your experience, you have a whole island to explore, whether it's by car, boat, or plane. O'ahu is a vibrant island with diverse opportunities for exploration; whether you want to drift on hairpin turns down the side of a volcano, splash through mud in an offroad race through the rainforest, or take a lazy drive in a vintage car down the beach, O'ahu is a playground tailored for you. As you explore the island, keep an eye out for markers that show additional available challenges, like slaloming around traffic cones, speeding across a stretch of road within a time limit, flying a plane through hoops, and much more.
Do the Playlist Shuffle
If you're looking to dive right into a curated racing experience, check out one of The Crew Motorfest's 15 available Playlists. Each Playlist is a themed campaign composed of multiple races inspired by a specific subset of car culture, like nighttime street racing in Made in Japan, discovering the capabilities of luxury EVs in Electric Odyssey, or learning the evolution of the Porsche 911 in 911 Legacy: A Porsche Story. For each race within the Playlist, you'll be loaned a specific car that helps immerse you in the story of the campaign; for example, in Vintage Garage, which takes you through five decades of cars, you won't have access to GPS or mini-map as you get behind the wheel of a 1950s Eldorado Brougham or the Kombi 21 Window Bus. As an added bonus, once you've completed all events in a Playlist, they become customizable, letting you replay your favorite moments in a new way tailor-made for your preference.
Expand Your Garage
Whether you imported your vehicle collection from The Crew 2 or are starting fresh, be sure to check out your garage. Here, you'll be able to see the cars you've already unlocked, as well as the entire catalog of vehicles available in The Crew Motorfest, like the Lotus Evija or Lamborghini Revuelto, which you can earn for your collection. As you complete world events, online races, and Playlists, you'll unlock different parts that can be used to mod out your vehicles, making them even faster and better suited to your driving style. Don't forget to save your preferred vehicles to Fast Fav to make it easy to swap between them while you're on the road, air, or ocean.
Rev Your Engines With Friends
The Crew Motorfest has cross-play and cross-progression enabled, and you can race online with friends or other members of the community once you've finished the game's introduction. Up to 32 players can participate in Live Competitions, like the Demolition Royale. If you want to play with friends, all you need to do is invite them to join your crew through the Crew Management option in the menu. Once they accept, any activity started will automatically invite the rest of your crew to participate. While the Crew Leader will retain any Playlist race rewards in multiplayer, all crew members will be able to save their progression and keep any currency, XP, or Perf Parts they earn. Additionally, when racing with friends, you'll both earn bonus Crew Bucks for every event you complete, which can be used to purchase additional vehicles, parts, and vanities for your garage.
The world of The Crew Motorfest is yours to explore today for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC through the Ubisoft Store or Epic Games Store. It's also available as part of a Ubisoft+ subscription. If you want to try before you buy, The Crew Motorfest is offering a free trial through September 17, letting you race across O'ahu, dive into Playlists, and build your garage for up to five hours. All progress will carry over for those who buy The Crew Motorfest's Standard, Gold, or Ultimate Edition after the free trial ends.
